Hi /jp/, how are you this morning?

Did you do any otaku related things today?

Kinda stressed out. In the middle of moving out of the room I've been living in for the past 10 years. Otaku-wise, I played part of a nukige and am 1/2 watching some anime atm.

Daki-Kanako, next to me, says hi.

Sure, I did something Otaku related.

See I've been living NEET some time now, over 5 years in fact, I'm built (because what else is there to do but /jp/ and lift heavy objects) but incredibly socially inept in consequence to this.

I really only go out for food at night and only twice a month, I have a system to get cheap food and that is going to my local 24 hour mini-mart at 3am when they've finished re-stocking the cheap items. I treat it like a special occasion and wear a shirt and tie, sometimes a suit jacket too so I don't look as pathetic as I feel.

The girl at the till, Tammy, is really nice to me and calls me "Mr. Midnight", for the past 2 years she has noticed that I always show up in the dead of night on her late shifts and because she's a self-proclaimed nocturnal she only works late shifts.

>> No.9732593

Today I came in, cleared out half of the spicy beef and spicy pork instant noodles, got 2 tins of cheap coffee, 1 bottle of fresh 1%, 3 tubs of powdered milk, 20 tins of assorted veg/chicken/tomato soup, 1 tub of whey protein, a big bag of kp nuts and finally 2 bottles of cheap wine, all in all it came to less than $25 and it can feed me for half a month.

When I got to the till Tammy smiled at me and began ringing up my purchases, she looked me in the eye for a moment, then said "Hey I've been wondering, are you an insomniac or something?"

"N-No" I replied, "I uhh... just have an uhh, I mean a bad sleeping pattern", she giggled and kept scanning the items, then said "Why are you always so nervous?", I gave a grimaced smile, shurgged and said "I don't really talk to many people", she giggled and said "You sound like you're a loner", I didn't say anything, she looked up and realized she hit the nail on the head.

>> No.9732597

>>9732595

"Aww, sweet guy like you doesn't have any friends?", I shrugged again and grimaced, followed by an awkward laugh. "Y'know I don't have many friends either, having weird hobbies and sleeping all day will do that to ya, heheh", I swallowed and tried my best not to stutter, "They can't be weirder than m-mine, heheh", she looked up at me and smiled, then said "What's yours?"

Instant freeze up, to reveal or not to reveal... not to reveal. hide that powerlevel you creepy as fuck otaku, "C-comic books?", she smiled and shrugged her shoulders at me, "Pfft, that's not weird, wanna know what I'm into? ... Paranormal stuff, I'm reading it on my phone now! It's why I like the late shifts! Hardly any customers! heheh"

... and that is how /jp/ met /x/.
She's also accused me of being an assassin several times before, and for a while greeted me with "So have you whacked anyone lately?"

I also know a girl who I sometimes see at the 24 hour laundrette, but she would take 5-6 posts to explain at least.

I wouldn't say handsome, but I do shave on the 16th and 1st of every month and I do shave my head with some clippers I found on ebay, so I look reasonably intimidating when walking around/jogging at night.

She's called me "mysterious" before and I laughed it off, and she's kind of chubby but sure, she's cute enough.

I've gotten used to calling her Tammy too, she insisted I call her Tammy the 6th or 7th time I me her.

The laundrette girl is by far more interesting, she pretended I was her boyfriend once to avoid getting hit on by these 4 drunk guys who came in to get out of the cold and she seems to think I'm a nice guy because I let her throw her clothes in with mine when she forgot her wallet one time

she accidentally forgot to remove a pair of pantsu from the basket when we were sorting piles one time and I gave them back the next time I saw her, I do my laundry once a week on monday nights around 1am when the place is nice and empty.

The place is fully automated and the little spanish guy who runs the place is usually asleep in the customer service/dry cleaning kiosk.
