At that time I was twelve and still in the sixth grade. I don't feel like I've changed tremendously since then, or that that much time has passed. That was ten years ago.

Based on statistics (United States, not /jp/ dead-at-40) I can expect to live six times that difference more.

Then... that's not very much expected time left at all. I imagine I'll be thirty before I know it. It'll hit me like a truck, I know it. Before I go back to ignoring it and doing whatever.

Back in my days I didnt even know such thing like kindergarten exist until I go to primary school and the kids there told me.

2002 sucked. I was addicted to coke, vicodin, and xanax. My profession had me in the company of hipster slimeballs all the time.

I didn't really appreciate my hobbies because whenever I would sit down to watch anime or play video games, the painkillers would make me pass out or the stims would make me too jittery to sit still and enjoy the shit.

I was still playing Ultima Online. Got my athlon xp 2700 with 1 gig of ram that year thanks to duped gold I sold on ebay.

I was like 11 or something, 6th grade, playing GameCube, i used to drink cocoa milk a lot.

I don't remember what I did that day.

I don't even remember my childhood.

I'm going to get alzheimers one day.

I was playing the HELL out of Halo, Smash Bros Melee, and Fire Pro Wrestling D.

Sitting at home playing ragnarok online with my dial up and 750mhz processor, 8mb nvidia video card, 16gb hdd, 17" crt and 64mb of RAM. Loading times for maps were 3-4 minutes long every time. My parents bought this computer 2 years ago for $2000.

Nothing big really changed, I still have a cell phone and PC with internet.
I thought technology should advance in a exponential fashion, maybe we hit a block.

Oh man, megman battle network and pokemon ruby and sapphire!

Fuck, has it really been so long?

I'm still playing Diablo II... though having kept playing this shit for over 2 years now kind of seems boring..
Maybe I should find something else to occupy my time with..

My life hasn't been anything, but at least I'm not enough of a nerd to look back in time only in terms of computers and games like people in this thread.

In the fall of 2002 I got a couple of friends (using the term loosely though) and my life was at its best for the next three years when I got into recreational sports.

Man, getting bullied the crap outta and having no friends sucked so bad.

I was trying so hard back then, even still.

This was magical time of my life. I sat home semi-fat, watched 90s anime and drank pepsi. Taking lessons on judo. Smooth with ladies.

Just awesome time.

I.... I can't remember what I did in 2002, apart from going to my friend's house to play on his N64 until around midnight every weekend.

I didn't play any video games in 2002, nor did I listen to music. I mostly just read sci-fi from the library.

oh lord, 13 years old, on a sunday I'd probably have been helping my brothers with their part time gardening job so I'd have a little money to save up for a laptop. but that's not very entertaining so I'll share something gross.

First period in my first period in my first week back at school.
Blood, blood everywhere, I went to sit up and I felt it, and it dawned on me... that horrible sinking feeling. couldn't get out of my seat because of the stain on my fucking light blue school uniform skirt, had to wait until everyone left for lunch and then ask the teacher, a male teacher, what to do.

He went to the lost and found and got me a new skirt then found a teacher who could give me a tampon and a spare set of undies (sexy undies at that, they were a little loose around the top because she was older but she was a petite teacher so they stayed up under the buckle of the skirt. it was the most nerve wracking 15 minutes of my life. Bro-tier teachers never told anyone either.
