Is anyone else having trouble taking it easy?

My resting heartrate has increased by an average of 10 beats per minute since this has started to become more common. I pull up an interesting thread, I set it to refresh, and I look back a few seconds later and that message is there.

My heart skips a beat each time I see it. I can't relax.

thats unhealthy man maybe you should get some exercise

>> No.9707739

How is that worst than the 404 message after refreshing a thread?

>> No.9707755

>>9707739

It isn't, but it used to happen less. The message isn't the problem, it's the frequency of how often it keeps happening.

/jp/ feels like it's losing its personality. Everything is becoming so robotic.

>> No.9707756

Fucking everything sucks.

>> No.9707758

Yeah, now that I think about it, I shouldn't of filled out an application for /jp/. It barely needs moderation anymore.

It's the janitor.

Try some other board if you are only interested in janitored threads.

How long have you been here? It's been like this ever since the janitors actually started doing their job.
I agree though, many threads which are silly that shouldn't be considered straight shitposting are getting deleted. But that's the price we have to pay to prevent a flood of pigs

The death of the board?

Why are you making such a drama of a few threads getting deleted?
It's better than the spam we used to have every few hours here for sure.
If you want to blame someone blame the people who made such measurements neccesary

Take a look at some boards that are actually dead before you start spouting such crap.

I thought your last thread was fine.
I liked your last thread too OP.

Occasionally there would be actual spam like the Ron Paul threads and things like that, but mostly there were usually just a few harmless threads floating around. Now every post not in the strictest bounds of what is allowed in /jp/ is gone.

You haven't been here during the past few months then.
A group of people pretty much used /jp/ as their own little /b/

It's dying, not dead yet. People still lurk in the hopes of it becoming a decent place again.

I have been. It wasn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

Ron Paul threads every now and then are fine.
It's the people using the board like their blog that is the problem.

That's a load of shit. People lurked for years waiting for some actual moderation, upon which they rejoiced because threads don't 404 after twelve hours anymore and less than half of the board is shit.

Are you kidding me?Sometimes the whole frontpage was nothing but spamthreads made by the same people.
And look at how many of these people are gone.
You barely see someone like dontbullyme, moetron or tokiko post anymore because they are scared

Let's be straight here. You mealworms bitched for months and months until some mod was gullible enough to listen to you and told his janitors to go off the deep end of the spergpool. This resulted in so many emails to moot that the mod had to BEG you to send positive feedback. This still didn't happen and a couple weeks later things relaxed again and we basically do what we want.
