Its 1995 again and you are watching the only good harem that was ever made. Why was it never continued? I mean i heard the books finish it off and it gets much darker and in detail about the tenchi universe? I thought the show is still super famous in japan and America? So why?

I dunno if it was that popular in Japan... But certainly it seems to have been popular in America. Maybe I should check it out one day. Even though I find harem animes generally very low in quality.

It was, but with the continuation it became a piece of shit.
It's called tenchi muyo ryo-ohki.

There were so many contradictions in the original 90's OVA and the Ryo-Ohki continuation: FTW.

Screw the continuation dude.

They even released 3 Japanese text novels/Japan that ended the series after Ryo-Ohki.

The creators got lazy and the OVA series ending could only have worked if they finished in the 90's when the "Magic" was still there.

Its really good, the characters feel real and have personalty, it never gets old and its just fun. pulse everybody wins in the books, so its actually ends as a harem. And when i mean everybody, i mean EVERY one.
