Well sure, but if you can be boring and think the world is amazing and interesting, then being boring isn't bad.

So it's okay to be boring and if the end result of that is that you think the world is boring that's okay too.

The image tries to imply that there is something wrong with being disinterested in the world and/or being boring. Once the link between those two things are broke it breaks the idea that either is bad. Do what you want, don't listen to haughty anime girls.
