I got two low quality bans at the same time yesterday. What the fack is up with that?

Maybe you should stop making low-quality posts.

Mod logic: I'm sure that in 90 days he'll be 18. There's like, 22 days in a year, right?

He very well could be eighteen within ninety days.

Maybe he's actually eight, but we're not going to give him a ten-year ban because he might be.

Underage posters should be permab&.

If they can't manage to switch IPs in however many years it takes them to reach 18, they don't belong on the internet anyway.

Anyway, teenagers are objectively the worst posters. Science proved it, don't bother him about it.

So 4chan should officially endorse the concept that nobody waits out their bans and that everybody should evade them (those who don't are retarded). Fantastic idea.

Is having a dynamic IP really that rare?

I've always had trouble understanding why people get so upset about bans. I find it annoying when I get banned, but only because it means that I have to stand up, walk three feet, and reset my router.

>> No.9686289

It should have been a permanent ban... 90 days makes no fucking sense.

The official stance is to appeal a ban you don't agree with.

In this case, I'd suggest you go to #4chan with two pieces of state-issued ID ready.

Bans are inherently pointless on an anonymous imageboard.

The only ones who fear bans are tripfags since their precious trip gets banned.

There's always a way to get a new IP be it MAC address cloning or a simple reset, unless you don't have access to the modem/router, in which case you're a fucking loser.

Nope. Some ISPs link your account to specific mac and you can't call support 5 times a day to change thier database.

I've had 6 different ISPs - Cox, Comcast, CenturyLink, Embarq, Verizon, and AT&T - and there was always a way to get a new IP. One of them required me calling their automated tech support for a reset while my modem was unplugged and after changing my router's MAC address.

I don't understand how you cant figure it out with your ISP, or simply switch to another.
