I doubt that's true. I clearly remember making a g-e hentai account just to access exhentai about a year or two ago, and I could do it immediately without any cookie editing whatsoever. Must be a browser issue of some sort.

I have a related question, i read somewhere that there are certain hidden exhentai galleries that are only accessible by older accounts, is this true and if so how old does your account have to be to access them? I think mine is about two years old.

Things change. Back in 2010, plenty of new users could access the site without problems using the cookie-deleting method. It's possible that the owner of the site could've added restrictions to new owners at some point in time, because the whole point of switching loli/guro content to exhentai was to divert people's attention away from it.

I dont know how you can fuck up clearing cookies, but somehow I did it wrong 5 times, I was even using ccleaner, and my e-hentai account was almost a year old. What worked for me was

Deleting cookies and logging into g.e-hentai has never worked for me, I have to manually edit the cookies. It's weird though, I can access exhenai on my phone with no problems.
