When I get hugged by another kig while suited up, I wish they wouldn't. It's stressful because I worry their mask will damage my own. The mask head is not your own so theres very little sense of how not to knock into eachother. Maybe it comes with practice? I can feel my head being forced to the side or tugged some way when someone pushes on my mask for any reason, and I can't push back for fear of scuffing it or hurting myself. It's a heavy, kind of scary feeling when a hug or careless reach-around for a photo feels like my mask is getting yanked or my head forcefully tugged and I can't see what the hell is happening because im mostly blind and it's near impossible to tell where the pressure is coming from and trying to break free could hurt the mask.

big question is, how long have you had your mask/how often do you wear it? from my experience....it's experience. more you wear a particular masks, the more you get a sense of where every part of it is around you. even when things like the hair or what have you get tugged on (either intentionally or accidentally) you tend to get a sense of what's going on. you can also get a sense of mask durability over time, more you wear it, more confidence you'll have that the maker sold you a product that can handle standard wear and tear. it's for sure NOT a football helmet or motorcycle helmet, but a well made mask will still hold up to minor bumping etc.

i was kinda the opposite for the kigu PJs. when they first started showing up i couldn't see any appeal to them. over time i kinda saw that had some cuteness potential, but could never commit myself to spend the money and buy a pair. but then i finally did, and oh my god are they comfy......

Just the word "kigurumi" means that the whole body is covered. As for the purpose, it covers body hair, coloration imperfections and matches the skin to the mask (ideally). It also creates a more anime effect, smooth mono-color skin.

Two other points: Not everyone is blessed with a super feminine body. The bodysuit is a wonderful thing for hiding physical augmentations even if the character;s outfit doesn't cover a lot of skin. Also remember that there is a distinction between kigurumi and female masking.

what are you even basing this on? Miina does fetish stuff yeah, but almost every single kigurumi performer is male, and you're going to see the most fetish stuff from males no matter what. There's like ~15 girls total who do this, Japanese and western, and I'm being lenient. And except for miina I can't think of any girls who do anything "slutty". You'd think it would be pretty intuitive, but I remember when Cure Muse first got added to the shows and (more often than not) she was the same height as everyone else, which was a little strange. The big dance troupes (the DX shows) tend to do it right, though.

Sigma wouldn't sell, the reason they don't do overseas shipping is because they take payments through the Japanese banking system, which is notoriously insular. You essentially need a Japanese banking account, and to get one you need a permanent address in Japan.

Adding onto the recommendation for a GouKaOu mask though.

Some Americans have to get the Sigma's mask through a Japanese friend. Sigma's mask is very thin and delicate. It can not bear for international shipping very fragile. Providing a sturdy box for mask is possible. Shipping will be expensive, however. Damage in transit will be guaranteed the shipping company. However, it is not possible to obtain exactly the same handmade mask again.

GouKaOu is Chinese, masks are manufactured in China.
