How do you pronounce NEET?
Is it the same as "neat"?

Stephen Fry told me it's the three letter combination with the largest number of syllables, so it's unfortunate it ended up in URLs. He pronounces it "wuhwuhwuh". He's a smart and handsome fellow, so I'm going to listen to him.

Though sometimes when people use it for wapanese laughing, I read it as "LAFFOLAFFOLAFFO".

I was about to say that! You have to make less of a plosive-y sound and draw it out, though. People freak out when I say URLs to them, because it sounds like I'm doing some soft, seductive whisper at the start.

>> No.9645474

Yes it's "neat". I heard it enough when I was on jobseeker's allowance for a fucking year.

I'm up in the north-east of England. It's the official term for everyone out of education, employment or training, as you'd guess. It's used both in speech and in paperwork but they don't say it to your face since it can be considered an insult.

What do you think is the most neet country?
england seems pretty neet, lots of cities with a 25% neet population
