Luck of having lenient parents. For someone like you, I recommend you start believing in reincarnation, and then killing yourself with a firm hope that you will be dealt the rich/easy life next time.

They leave eggs at an alarming rate. A few dead means absolutely nothing. You have to poison them. It's much more fun if you imagine them as victims of a plague in medieval europe. Picture the flea children trying to wake their papa up, but find he just won't open his eyes. Then they all hide in their little flea basement, worrying as to when the same sickness that killed their father will come unto them as well. The older siblings will try to comfort the younger ones, but then notice that their youngest brother is infected. They tell him to wait there while they go out to get food. In truth, they are never coming back for their now doomed brother; they are moving to a new place altogether. They cannot even say a proper goodbye to him.

Here's that stuff I was talking about, by the way. Finally remembered the name.

I'd like to try that. But I'm afraid they would just pretend not to care and still be sad about it. And I don't want my mother to be sad.

I also thought about living out of a van and not even coming back to live with them, but that would probably have a similar effect. My parents are really holding me back. A NEET needs to let his spirit flourish. I hope they will realize that someday.

There were some here when my mom had a dog. Rather, after the dog left and they turned to biting other things. They never noticeably bit me or came in my room (probably because it's shut tight most of the day) and in the end the solution was bombing the whole house.

If you guys with fleas don't have pets to get rid of, I can't imagine how much it sucks. I guess you can be happy they aren't bedbugs though. (then again bed bugs don't carry the plague)

I slept for a good part of the morning, and then after my short-term memory loss erased my knowledge of the past four days I went on a walk to buy fifty chocolate-chip cookies from the grocery store for five dollars. I ate ten of them as I browsed 4chan and checked on some stuff in some online games I play.

Later on I made potato soup and two grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner and then watched my roommate's dog. She was a good girl, and she didn't want to leave my room as she kept on wanting to sleep on my bed.

I did more stuff in some of my online games again after I took a shower, and read up on how an overheated CPU can cause your computer to randomly restart itself. I then made plans to buy some compressed air next week if I can afford it.

That leads me to here. I'm probably going to go to bed soon and wake up early tomorrow for that meeting and free breakfast that the program I am a part of has every Wednesday. I have Asperger's and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and because of that I am living in a community housing facility that teaches people how to become independent, and one of the requirements is a mandatory meeting every Wednesday.

I hope they make scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy for the meeting tomorrow. I love scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy.

Currently staying at a backpacker hostel. I am NEETing as HELL but I can only last maybe two months at this, and that's spending no money on food. I don't know what's going to happen next.

I actually know a NEET girl, or at least a girl that isn't in work, education or training. She spends all of her day reading books on her Kindle, playing video games or sleeping because she has chronic migraines that prevent her from even going outside.

I've spoken to her a handful of times since I'm friends with her live-in boyfriend, who used to be a NEET until just a few days ago. Now he's trying to go to college to get an education so he can run his own computer repair shop. When he's not at college he spends all of his time playing video games and if you let him he'll eat nothing but ramen for days while doing so. He technically has Asperger's but he doesn't receive any benefits from having it because his doctors don't think he actually has it.

As for me, I woke up this morning and felt kind of shitty. I had a stuffy nose and a headache, but then again I've been sick for the past week. It's still too early for the meeting that I'm required to go to every Wednesday, but the housing manager and lady who runs said meeting should be here within the next half-hour to hour or so. I might ask her if she needs any help with making the breakfast this morning, since I love to cook.

However, I've got this feeling that it's probably going to be donuts again if anything else. That's because there is only a breakfast if the people in the apartment the meeting is held in actually do their chores and clean up their dishes and such. Otherwise for the meeting on Wednesday someone goes with the housing manager to pick up two dozen donuts from the local supermarket.

I'm usually the one that goes to help her get said donuts. I like to pick one of each for the dozen I fill so that none of them are the same, even though I usually just go for an apple fritter. I like apple fritters.

Anyways, I hope you have a good day /jp/. I'll post again later I guess.

Not him, but let's be honest: A lot of people have spergy tendencies. Deciding if it's enough to qualify as full on Asperger's or not is really arbitrary and may vary from doctor to doctor. I don't even think they see Asperger's as a serious illness. It's just a way to get money.

Well if cost is an issue and if you don't have a need4speed like typical normalscum you can invest in an e-scooter too. I don't need to register or insure my scooter and I don't need a license either so that saves money right off the bat. It's also electric so I don't have to pay for gas at all. It can travel roughly 30 miles on a single charge and one charge costs half a dollar. If it ever happens to die on you, it has pedals.

While some of them are sketchy as hell, you can find decent work for as little as four hours and up to 2000 hours if you're willing to spend a little bit of time digging. Depending on where you live, the pay is decent. I just finished 1,500 hours of work at 11.50 an hour and i'm set for the next year or two (if not more) and can resume being a NEET. All I did was sit in the dark basement of an office building and sort files for a few hours a day. No social interaction and the only person I had to deal with was the guy who paid me.

I'll make sure to bring my Milky Holmes shirt!

I woke up at 6PM today and reapplied for food stamps. Technically I shouldn't even qualify for help because I live with my mom and she buys everything for me, but for some reason they accepted my case and gave me money last year.

I haven't done anything else today. I think I'm going to clean my room.

Isn't /soc/ just a bunch of camwhores and dudes jerkin it?
Would NEET-related blogs really belong on /soc/?

Well I've never been there myself but it's /soc/ - Social right? I would assume that would include people blogging about their lives.

Although I think most of them probably have jobs or go to school so NEET blogs might not be too well received there.

It's off boarders from places like that coming here to pretend to be NEET and shitting all over the place in the first place.
You'll notice, they're the same people who made glory hole threads too.

I do beleive /r9k/ is the board they are meant to go to for that kind of thing though.

Did you ever used to fear weird things as a kid? Not like, fear actual objects, but like, I'd see pictures of the Pacific Ocean on a map, and I'd get uncomfortable. To the point where I wouldn't be able to look at it on a map without someone in the same room with me. Pictures of tornados used to do the same thing to me, but not as much now. Even now, I kinda quickly go past maps of the Pacific or tornados, just to not get anxious

This isn't unusual, right?

>> No.9621157

Lately I've been a having a lot of trouble at work, several people are about to see through the mask I throw on every day when I go there and deal with them. They are about to know what a miserable failure I am and it will be incredibly shameful for me when they find out. I don't want to to quit this job, I've been taking it easy here for four years at a comfortable place. Moving on will be horrible.

Sounds bad. You could try telling them you're just stressed out. Whenever I'm feeling miserable about being NEET I just tell my mom that and she lets me be moody. Maybe this will give you a few days to be a moody bastard while you recollect yourself and put that mask back on.

Playing guitar after a while of not doing it can be both frustrating and refreshing. I don't play as much these days because I'm focusing on electronic music production, but I did it last Saturday for a while and it was very interesting because you always learn a trick or two from writing music on a piano-oriented system.

Try different kinds of techniques to avoid that "stale" feeling, learning is fun.

I wonder why some parents don't talk to their kids at all. It makes a huge difference. I've learned almost everything about the world from my peers and it has always been a disadvantage for me. Is it blind stupidity or disinterest? A child doesn't know what he's supposed to know.
