As far as organized folders goes, around this much. That is without including: the ungodly amount of manga that I have which I still have to catalog properly, h-videos, and h-games.

To be fair is not everything strictly loli but I'd wager it's around 80%.

>> No.9619881

>>9619851

Same guy here, how do you like organize your h-manga folders anyway? All I'm seeing in this thread are drive sizes. I've been trying to find a way to tag/rate each manga in some sort of folder system but all software I've come across failed in that department.

>> No.9619905

>>9619881
Bridge or Lightroom can tag, rate, and display files but I just remember the artist or name for the ones I like the best.

>> No.9619929

>>9619905

When collections get big enough you'll always come across a point where you'll go "damn, what was that awesome manga that I read about <theme> that was a one-shot from an obscure artist that only has one chapter translated?" or something like that. It happens occasionally.

I'll look into your suggestions, thanks. Now if only I had a software that would select a random manga for me from my collection it'd be perfect. Kinda like a shuffle option from music players.

>> No.9619947

I name the folder [Circle name] TITLE (ero/non-ero) (C if completed, otherwise omitted). Then I add the title/circle/event of release into into a sorted spreadsheet, give it a rating and write a small description.

>> No.9619984

>>9619947

My non-categorized folders work that way, they are organized by date added into subfolders and I'll admit it's a pretty effective system. Things started to go haywire when the amount of manga started to get staggering and I wanted to segregate full books/oneshots/japanese-english manga so I made the system I posted above. It's not perfect but I do prefer browsing rather than searching for artists names.

>>9619959

That seems like a nice way of doing but I rather not have to rename my folders, the amount of stuff I'd like to include would make things too bloated. A tag system similar to what music files have would be perfect, with things like rating/genre/language/event/author/circle/etc.

>> No.9620111

>>9619984
Definitely check out Lightroom in that case. It's got ratings and a tag system that can both apply tags/ratings to batches of files, a search system and probably some other things I'm not aware of. The only reason I mentioned Bridge is because Lightroom is an editing/management program and Bridge seems like just management. I don't know if they have the same UI but LR seems easy to tag, rate, and search in and won't make changes to your files unless you export it.
