If your complaint is about the lack of spoonfeeding getting porn, games, add-on packs, VN, or music to you, then it is correct to say that there is a lack of spoonfeeding for C82 as compared to C81 and C80. If you sit there waiting for the world to come to you and hand stuff to you (spoonfeeding), then C82 lacks all of the major spoonfeeders we used to have. Private groups exist. We have FTP and even a torrent which is actually more useful for repairing partial or corrupt downloads from chinese sites. Rather than discard the entire download of which only the end is corrupt/missing, we finish it via the torrent. We try not to use the torrent as the main source since it is there mostly for repairing.

For those wondering about miskyworks album.
What they sold in C82 are just postcards with lyrics.
The album is a compilation of photoshop & daisy strategy with 2new songs. So they just sold postcard and you can download them off the link given there when it is done. Probably september or so when they finish the 2songs. For now, the download link on their website only have the songs from their old album. Bad thing about this is they are in 192kbps. I wonder if I should email them to ask for flac/tta? Your thought?

Hey, anon here trying to convert the lossless AD:Trance 2 album (when I'm done I'll have it up as mediafire v0), I'm having trouble splitting the tracks with the .cue file because foobar gets Error parsing cuesheet: expected WAVE, MP3 or AIFF, got : "TTA" (line 6). Before doing this, I had googled that Medieval cue splitter is not a good program to use (foobar2000 with encoders/decoders is better apparently) and that I need to edit the .cue files (I did with notepad++) in order to match the audio lossless source.

What does this mean? Do I need to edit my .cue correctly or do I need to convert the .TTA to WAVE, then split and then to mp3? It's my first time doing this sort of thing.

Just googled what mojibake meant, but I already converted most of them and only a couple of tracks ended up with weird characters. I'm assuming I can just edit the tags once I'm done converting with a correct tracklist off vgmdb or the official sites.

dai's website lists Disc 1 as 10 tracks and Disc 2 as 20 tracks. The crossfade video also confirms this.

However this Chinese upload that's floating around has 23 tracks on Disc 1 and 21 tracks on Disc 2. It also has no artist tags and the track tags are all incorrectly tagged and mojibake (ｦｱ･ﾘ 1, ｦｱ･ﾘ 2, etc.).

Guess I'll have to wait until it gets a proper upload.

It's on topic but not in the way YOU like. Just because something is not what you like doesn't mean you get to knee-jerk attack. This is a comiket discussion thread about things that affect the comiket downloads as well as comiket things in general.

That issue is related to the past problem in C81 upload threads. At least this time, there is finally active moderation cleanup that deletes all of the "anti tripcode user" and "deliberate ungratefulness conservative republican" posts that attack the uploaders. We begged for modding then, but no effect and no mod action.

Thankfully, the number of attack posts this past week is almost none since there isn't that stupid polarizing budget issue in the usa congress. That issue was causedconservatives letting the budget/gov't go down in flames in order to eliminate social welfare programs. The issue stirred up conservatives everywhere and made them willing to fight even online. A mini-revolution in progress to fight social welfare. I remember a lot of those attacks on the C81 uploaders were from multiple posters all angry at any kind of "social welfare" online. 4chan was not the only place with their anger. Because the organized uploaders were seen as a form of social welfare, the attacks by conservatives was particularly savage and unrelenting and involved constant reporting to DDL sites to get the uploads revoked. Even my few uploads I made and then posted got revoked right away due to angry conservatives in the thread reporting them. Probably one or two reports doesn't get my upload revoked, but there might have been many reports since there were a damn lot of angry people back then.

At the lower-end of cost effective audiophile headphones is the Sony "for Digital" series of studio monitor headphones. I use the MDR-V6 (not the V600). This one is NOT closed ear but the advantage is that it really is possible to fall asleep with them on because they are thin enough without that over the ear cup.

Studio monitor headphones reproduce evenly without coloring the music to personal preference. Of course, most people prefer headphones that "color" the music because they choose headphones that best match their own ear's strengths, weaknesses, and age-related loss. A technically exact studio monitor headphone is best for mastering, not for enjoyment if your ears don't have an even response curve up to your high frequency limit.

All of the doujin music I've heard so far from C79 to C82 doesn't push past the dynamic range rate response limits of my Sony MDR-V6, so it is more than enough for doujin music. Dynamic range rate response is what you pay for in the higher cost headphones so it's up to you to determine what you like or tolerate with that aspect. I'd guess that the MDR-V6 is sony's best cost-effective headphones ever made and one of the all time top-5 cost-effective headphones for prosumers. It's about $79 at Amazon.

The sony MDR-V6 or MDR-V600 don't leak sound.

There is another of these types of exposed prolapse cervix, manipulated ovary doujins out there. The two D&B albums I was looking forward to have come out.

[Sound.AVE] Driven' De:st-ructure2 was pretty decent. fang's tracks in particular were all very well produced. There was the odd brostep bassline in one or two tracks (most irritatingly in DJ Shimamura's tracks) but not for enough to divert from the quality of the album.

[STR Label] MIXIM vol.03 DnB was the one I probably preferred because the production sounded better and there was one particular (Ino - Lifesized) where I really liked the drum production.

All in all, both albums are good. Not quite up to the standards as other D&B but that's hardly surprising given that some producers have over a decade of experience to some of these guys. My album of the event will probably be one of these two or JULIANA'S TOHO Vol.1 TECHNO RAVE PARTY, god help me I do love that Breakbeat Hardcore and Acid House sound on that album.

Also Minamotoya's album was nice, kind of what I always expect from him. USAO's newest Kick's for Liberation was great in the Hardstyle bits but terrible in the Brostep bits.

Better headphones aren't good if you genuinely cannot hear the difference. Damaged hearing or age-related hearing loss makes audiophile gear a waste of money. Instead, get ones that are comfortable to wear (cheap ones are usually lightweight).

As to better headphones, there are standouts in terms of "bang for the buck". Under $40 headphones are basically disposable. You can take to the beach, drop, grit up, or lose.

But people who cannot "hear the difference" should not in general be telling others to not buy the audiophile headphones on the basis of little or no improvement in sound quality ESPECIALLY when you don't define what "quality" means to you. Chances are with such a vague short statement, "quality" is poorly defined.

Besides even frequency response, which almost all headphones seem to say they have (even the trash ones), you have dynamic range response, delivered audio volume response in decibels, the separate issue of bass "thump", physical comfort, sound leakage, ventilation to prevent moist ears, weight, and the ability to stay on your head despite movement. The higher-priced headphones have ways to deal with those other issues.

Some of the obnoxiously-priced Dr Dre branded headphones deal with bass thump (a lot of air movement) while many (but not all) audiophile headphones ignore the physical part of the bass audio "thump" sensation by depending on closed ear tight coupling approaches (which I don't like due to physical comfort). I wear glasses, so that limits what kinds of headphones I will wear.

Rinsako was an uploader of rare or expensive doujins. He was repeatedly opposed by Shadow Weaver and was driven away after some months. SW and other elites encouraged others to help them downvote char name tags too. SW is a grudge holder who never forgets.

Many tagging situations at EH/sadpanda are SW's doing. Many words are on a "no use" list so use as tags has no effect. SW put many words on a synonym list to prevent them as tags. For example, if you enter "classroom" as a tag, "schoolgirl" appears as the tag since SW set schoolgirl as the master word for a set of possible tags.

SW hates yaoi, but since couldn't ban yaoi, so he made yaoi searches harder by having the tag rule no male characters can be tagged.

One of the biggest problems with e-hentai tags is that they are not set up to be used as "negative" search tags. That is, don't show items with these tags.

A lot of tags have their greatest value not in positive item searches, but as negative item searches. So, there can be a gallery that takes place wholly in a classroom, but "classroom" is not allowed as a tag. Because it is politically impossible to forbid the use of classrom as a tag that is not descriptive of the gallery (one of SW's favorite excuses is that a tag has to apply to at least most of the gallery), SW then moved the classroom tag to be a synonym to schoolgirl.

That also forced the removal of classrom from all the yaoi galleries taking place at school since all of a sudden, schoolgirl appeared there and had to be deleted. WAIT, deletion of those tags is credited to Shadow Weaver for his monthly contest rewards! <-- epic conflict of interest

Find a torrent or batch torrent for it. Set all the other files to do not download. Let the torrent repair the corrupted file for you. Winrar also has a built-in repair tool that will try to recover all the individual files it can (as long as it is not a solid archive). Use the recovered files as a preview listen and if they don't appeal to you, then you might not bother getting the rest of the album.

The bittorrent world is full of seeders with slow or fast connections, but who get criticized for being shit. Other clients could be connected to him with lower latency than you, so of course they would get the bandwidth since they pop in more requests as soon as they finish.

You're lucky a few key uploaders stuck around despite the many hateful and ungrateful posts criticizing uploaders back in the C80 and C81 comiket threads. The other plus is the huge amount (relative to other times) we have in the comiket threads that delete the hate posts that did appear.

Right now, /a/ has its version of those C80, C81 hate posts. Someone started a hate scanlators post and it took up a life of its own with people posting hate about scanlators. Some of the "facts" posted are obviously fake and meant to try to get people angry at scanlators. It's similar to the gratuitous hate posts in /jp/ relative to the comiket uploaders. But since it's a hate thread on /a/, there's nothing the mods can do with individual post deletion since deleting the hate would remove the first post. That OP there made a strange post too about how his first language is japanese (not english) and that is why he reads english scanlations (explained in his subsequent posts). So I think the OP contradicted himself up in his rush to post hate. Otherwise, it's skillfully written to stir people up against the scanlators.

One of the previous discussion threads mentioned the new C82 im@s doujin that set new all-time comiket waiting line records with approx 10,000 waiting to buy the book which was approx $20 each. That means the artist/author sold $200,000 or more for just that one title at C82. He must have had some confidence to front a huge amount of money to produce the things.
