I think we're missing out on many interesting situations by taming them down to people with magical powers who can drink blood once in a while if they want to. For example, a vampire girl route would be a lot like a hikki girl route, because not being able to go outside during the day would make her quite solitary. Imagine how grateful she would be for the kind protagonist who is willing to stay up all night to keep her with company, she's probably never experienced that before. And though I don't really mind the concept of vampirism being used to retain beauty, it would be kinda cute if she also was sickly pale from the lack of sunlight. And when she finally trusts you enough to give her body to you, she lets you join her in her coffin. Isn't that intimate and romantic?
