Unlike most male users with a brain, who are fine with posting under anonymity, women usually feel some need to reveal their gender to either garner attention or prove a point. Why this is done is completely lost to me, but once it takes place, entire threads are veered off course when the lonely male users, seeking validation from females began to ask things like "would you fuck me" and the underage users, who might have otherwise kept quite and lurked, feel the need to go "POST TITS PLEASE YOUR BUTIFUL XD."

Also, notice every cancer filled board talks about nothing but "My girlfriend this." or "I post tits if XXXX"

WOMEN HAVE RUINED 4CHAN.

If women played along more, went with a more "when in rome" mentality and stayed hidden, THIS BOARD WOULD BE 100% BETTER.

It was just a decline in the quality of users over time, but anyone who has been here a few years or more would probably agree that the biggest decline came a couple summers ago when the Habbo bullshit started. Females are simply not good medicine for communities with discussion of male-centric hobbies like video games, anime, and assorted moe shit. There are obviously girls that are into the same things, but their brains are wired very differently, and they are more prone to emotional outbursts and less-than-logical behavior: things that simply don't work on a cold and detached board like /jp/. I simply cannot remember any poster who either announced her femininity or heavily implied it who has had worthwhile, interesting things to say. Because like /tg/, being part of our user base requires more work than makes us immediately accessible to new users. The more new users we have, the more those individuals have to learn. Our stream of newfags is comprised mostly of those who lurked other boards before coming here.

It also makes it a less interesting target for /b/ overflow, just like /tg/. Of course, I'm not saying the board isn't turning to shit as a result of a clash between the oldfags and the new users who browsed through the ED articles before coming here, but somehow failed to look up at the banners to find out what sort of site they'd just become part of.
