Let's have a thread for the best C82 game so far, 古明地さとりの情操教育.
Which level are you at right now? Did you get stuck somewhere? Let's help each other and have fun together!

I'm still on the first ページ. I wonder how many there are. I hope there's alot of them.
I got stuck for a while at this level. I felt really stupid when I finally figured it out.

Spoilered for solution.
Place the spring so that Koishi jumps over the water. Koishi will need to bump into the wall in front of her, but place the sign behind her so that when she turns around after bumping, it directs her toward the spring. While Koishi moves to the spring, throw the cake to Orin (since she bumped in to the wall once and we need to heal her for 2 more bumps). Grab the left-pointing arrow closes to her and then when she bumps into the lower wall, place the sign so that she turns left, and bumps off of that wall. As she begins to go towards the present, get the spring and place it in her way so she jumps over the water.

I hope that's clear enough.

This level has me stumped though.

Yeah, that level was brutal. My solution was:
Your setup has to look like this. You get the two springs in the middle island like this by placing one on the other.
Then stand where I'm standing in the image. Lift the arow just after Koishi touched it. That way, Koishi will go in the direction of the present and Orin will pass.
Then place that arrow and the spring two spaces to the back.

So it's purely time?

I guess the fast forward time button is absolutely needed.

Also I managed 9 and 10 by actually going as fast as humanly possible in those levels.

I believe I'm also going as fast as humanly possible in 11 and 12, but so far nada.

Has anybody managed the excellent times for those two puzzles yet?

9 had me literally throwing all the signs away as fast as possible, getting to the trampoline, throwing it so Koishi jumped over me, and then after having done that ran and placed the trampoline in the right place all while fast forwarding time in the moments I could.

10 had me cutting it close by milliseconds as fast forwarding time is finicky when she's on trampolines, and if I fast forward too much a bit in the beginning, throwing the trampoline in the last spot causes her to turn backwards in mid air.

These two excellent times seemed more like absolutely perfect times.

All my graphics are bugged up, but I'm pretty sure the black stamps came after doing really well and red stamps came after regular clears.

There's also the fact when getting black stamps, large candies and sweets appear from the presents where as with normal clears only small ones appear.

>>9566348
>>9566361
It was explained slightly earlier in the thread when I asked about it with my bugged up graphics. Do a level fast enough and you get a special stamp and large sweets pop out instead of small ones when the present is opened. It appears to have purely to do with speed and fast forwarding helps.

For a test of how it works, do the first level, place the sign where it should be, and simply wait until Koishi gets to the present, only small sweets will appear. Now do the same, but this time fast forward the instant you get the sign in place, large sweets will appear when the present is opened and you will get the excellent time stamp if you didn't have it.

Looking at the black Kanji, it says 良 which is the same Kanji that is used to represent a good clear in a non-glitched game. Making slow, but steady progress getting excellent times on all the levels.

It seems like getting excellent times on the Koishi, Orin, and Utsuho levels is mostly just execution as the best strategy is usually the only one due to having to guide three people simultaneously.

Here's the trick.

Utsuho takes a long time to walk over to the last column. Before she gets there, you have time to use the trampoline for a roadblock on the ice. Remember to use one of the arrow signs as another roadblock to avoid falling into the river and to grab the trampoline before heading out of the ice.

You can send Koishi down the narrow hallways by dropping arrows behind her when she runs into a wall, so that she'll see them when she turns around. Use the cake to heal her; you've got to bump into a wall 3-4 times to get through.

It's possible to just mash the throw button repeatedly when doing a long line like that.

You can throw stuff constantly if you mash fast enough without any chance of walking in the wrong direction while continuously holding down the arrow keys. Takes a while to get used to though and if you mess up your timing you walk off stuff a lot.

>> No.9575385

>>9575324
That doesn't make any sense. You need to walk to the next thing to throw it.
Fuck it either way. Puzzles that challenge my mind to figure out how to solve them and what sort of timing I need are good; puzzles that just make me mash throw can go die.

>> No.9575420

Can someone explain the story? Like it is a fun puzzle game but wtf is going on

>> No.9575445

>>9575385
You walk while mashing the throw button if there's nothing to throw or grab.

It works like this.

When walking towards something you can grab, you grab it immediately upon contact.

When Satori is picking it up, you change direction during the animation and Satori will end up throwing the object to the side.

During the throwing animation, change your direction back to the way you were walking and you will continue on to the next object in line.

This is all while mashing the throw button.

It's not that hard to do.

Why are you giving up so easily?

Are you just looking for a reason to stop playing the game?

The term "fuck it" implies giving up to me. Sorry for assuming.

The sheer execution required in later levels gets quite intense, so I hope you get the technique for inputting controls in the buffer during actions because you really need to be damn fast. Well for the excellent times at least.

Hope it gets better for you. The puzzles are great brainteasers despite the difficulty in actually carrying out the solutions.

I don't think I'm going for excellent times. The game's hard enough without them.
And I'm well past that mushroom mess, for the record. Chewing on 98-99 some time tonight.

I know the timing's tight for a lot of stuff, but looking at that mushroom level, nothing else seems to come close, except maybe that one level with that's covered in red bombs. Haven't touched the post-game levels yet, though. I'm really hoping it's not as bad as Mariari's last world.
