I can't take it easy without my allotment of ONE (1) NEET lifestyle thread!

NEETs, what's the best tasting ramen that's easy on the wallet? Preferably not more than $0.50 per packet.

I get maruchan chicken for cup ramen too, but the noodles and overall flavor are kinda different. Just heat up some water in the microwave for about 3 minutes in a mug, pour it into the cup and use something to keep the paper lid closed after so the steam stays in, it'll be ready to eat in ~3 minutes.

I'm not saying cook elaborate meals.

Microwave a potato, make some rice, steam some vegetables, eat a banana, eat some sunflower kernels, fry some meat or eggs, etc. etc. Not asking you to make curry from scratch or something.

One thing I forgot to add I guess, would be that making bread is very cheap for how much calories it can give you. Flour, and a tiny bit of yeast, salt, sugar, and water is pretty much all you need.

On the topic of food.
Yes, actually cooking is hard, requires work, and is incredibly bothersome to do when you are notably tired and or depressed.

However, would also advice attempting to bake bread as was mentioned above.
It's incredibly cheap in comparison, just make alot of it at once. And even if you are bad at making bread it should still in most cases become edible. (just don't fret if you were to somehow end up with an actually un-edible mess, as stated above this is incredibly cheap, and thus even if you have to attempt once more, it may still very well be cheaper than if you bought stuff from the store. )

The only real downside is that you someday will have to try to muster the strength for it.

Otherwise, when you have the money and the time, cooking can be a one of the funnest things a person can do.

You should try oatmeal. Easy to cook in a microwave, and is cheap and nutritious.
It's better value than ramen once you factor in that it's actually nutritious. Since a bowl will cost like 50 cents, and it's an entire meal, you feel full, as well.
Buy oatmeal in bulk, put some in a bowl, add water, microwave for 3 minutes, and bam, food. Doesn't have the flavour of ramen, but you can add sugar and shit to it to make it go down easier.
I don't since it's too expensive to add shit to it and it's fine to eat by itself.

I got a bulk of bananas for $1, just because they looked like someone beat it with a stick.

You can't boil a lot of the heavy metals in the water. When boiling water, stuff like chlorine, haloacetic acids, and other chemical gases might evaporate. It also kills most of the bacteria or harmful microorganisms.
However, it does not get rid of the elements with higher boiling point, such as calcium and lead.

If you live outside the US (or even if you live inside and can afford it) I recommend acquiring a filter of sorts. It's a worthwhile investment if you drink tap water only, since long-term use can be detrimental to your health.

I assume it's sauces you get when you buy food at certain locations.
Lots of fast-food places have places where you can grab as many sauces as you like. Ketchup is an especially fascinating commodity at burger joints.

I personally like to get a single order of small fries, and grab as many packets as I can without trying to be obvious I'm taking a lot. I'm sure they wouldn't say anything, but I don't want them to stare at me wrong.

There's plenty of cheaper ways to do things and get things for free, but using this tactic, I have never run out of ketchup or mayonnaise.

Although in houses with boilers it's preheated. Depends on the hot water situation in the house.

UK water is heavy in minerals, completely non-toxic, but they'll limescale up kettles and such.
Tap water is fine.

I've only had Nong Shim, and I've gotta say I like the Mama Tom Yum flavor more. The flavors aren't really that comparable. The Tom Yum's got a nice heat (not too much though) with a really nice lime flavor that I haven't tasted in any other types of ramen. I gag when I taste anything fishy but even though the Tom Yum flavor is supposed to be shrimp I couldn't detect any at all. I even prepared another pack right after the first. The noodles are just normal.

What are the chances that I'll be able to purchase a NEET female?

I want to own a person of the opposite sex. I would say, "I only want attractive ones", but I have very unusual, even counter-intuitive tastes.

I could make them play video games with me, make them eat the delicious food I cook, force them to wear the frilly outfits I create. I could also seduce them. I'm not really interested in 3D women, but the prospect of teasing someone until they're consumed by a mindless desire is very flattering to me. Also, I would like to fall asleep next to something warm which occasionally moves around, where I could listen to their breathing, and feel warm inside knowing that they trust me enough to not murder them.

I mean, no other women wants anything to do with me on account of my inability to trust other humans, but if I can purchase someone whose life would only be improved by my presence, I would be able to totally circumvent that obstacle, right? Wouldn't a NEET be content with just not being required to do anything?

After applying to hundreds of jobs without one interview, I gave up. And here I still am. Desperately fearing any more failure and rejection. I wish I could be a truNEET, but I want money for manga and other stuff.

In /jp/, we have multiple keywords in usage, but you have to understand that they are ultimately meaningless, so don't take them too seriously. Nevertheless, prepare for /jp/ducation!

>NEET
A person who doesn't do anything but shitposts on /jp/ all day. Goes outside and does things, albeit rarely. Little to no friends. May have piss bottles.

>truNEET
Upgraded version of a NEET. No friends. Floor shitting and piss bottles. Frequency of going outside approaches zero.

>trueNEET
An alternate version of truNEET. This type creates tulpas and experiments with substances. Also known as insaneNEET.

>hikikomori
Never goes outside, ever. Complete loss of emotion.

>truHIKKI
Lies in bed all day. Doesn't even use his computer. Blankly stares at the ceiling every single day until death.

There are also emotional branches, such as

>truDEPRESSED
Depressed, but the legitimate kind. In order to have this status, you have to have been depressed from a very young age and have had no friends all throughout life.

Let me know if you need more helpful tips on this board!

We accept everybody.
We follow the rules.

If you're going to drink make sure you are not prone to alcoholism.

My father and mother are both killing themselves by drinking to death. It's a miracle either of them are still alive, their genes were good enough I guess, although they have many health problems and brain damage from years of abuse (they smoked too although my mother atleast quit that).

I know they are going to die soon. It breaks my heart. What makes it worse is that I drink too, and once I start I don't stop til I'm blacked out.

I try to stay as far away from alcohol as possible. But the need is always there. Its hard to stay away too long.

Find another outlet. Games, musical instruments, Tv shows, 4chan, anything else.

How do you make NEET dollars without getting on autismbux? I'm bored of drinking and I want to order something off silkroad, but the exchange rate for bitcoins right now is at around 11 dollars = 1 bitcoin.

The idea behind Forex trading is that you exchange your savings in dollars to some foreign currency, like Euros or Yen. Since the exchange rates between these currencies always go through minor fluctuations, after trading into a different currency, you wait for the currency you traded into to gain value against the dollar, then trade your savings back into dollars, netting you more money in dollars than you had before, then do this again with different currencies until you get a profit. Of course, it's also possible to lose money on forex if you predict badly on where the exchange rates will go.

>I fell hook, line, and sinker to the idea that if you get a college degree, your life is set.

Why would you believe a fairy tale like that?

The myth that college education creates success comes from a time when most people didn't go to college. So they looked at the lives of the more fortunate and thought, "If only I had gone to college, my life would be like that too." But that's not it at all. Although it's true that having a degree is more useful than not having one, a college education was a manifestation of a privileged lifestyle, not the cause of it.

I'm good at what I do because I have about 18,000 hours experience doing it. Not because I'm naturally talented, not because I have the right mind for it - both of those may or may not be true, but the main reason I'm damn good is because I have a shitton of real experience.

Any skill of large value takes time to learn (otherwise it wouldn't be of large value.) Everyone sucks at everything until they've done it a while.

You have to really want to do whatever it is you do - that's the only way to get that necessary experience while not destroying your humanity in the process. I love what I do, and when I talk about it, that shows. Real depression can make sticking with something really hard. It sucks, I've been there, and I clawed my way out of it over a period of about 4 years (still working on it though.)

I hope you guys will be able to be truly happy - some of you might even already be there. Unfortunately getting happy isn't a quick process. Take it easy, and keep going. I love you, /jp/.

This is actually extremely wrong. Even if he doesn't pay the bills, it's very important for a parent to leave personal space to their children (from 12 up), which includes not barging into rooms. And most houses (where I live) have room locks anyway.

What kind of life is that. Are you from some backwater ultra-christian community?

Back when I lived with my folks I made it clear that I masturbate on a daily basis and require knocks on the door before granting entry.

My mother was perfectly ok with this and never pressed it. My brother sometimes cracked jokes about it but that stopped once he reached puberty.

The fuck? Who the fuck buys into the Canon FD system, let alone with those bodies? Seriously, what the fuck? This confuses me so much. I can almost guarantee the reason that guy has 4 T90s and 2 T70s is because they're so fucking fragile and shittily made. See how he only has one FT? That's because it's the only one not made out of plastic from the 80s.
