I played HellMOO for a long time before the schism. I played Space Cowboys Online before it shut down, as well as All-Points Bulletin during its original release.

Come to think of it, all of the MMOs I played ended up shutting down. I may have an innate MMO-killing power.

If there was one it would not have Jap/Korean art aesthetic. Not enough mass appeal = niche player base outside Japan/Korea = not profitable = goes bust/f2p.

The Koreans come closer to worldwide success with MMOs (despite rarely penetrating) than Japan due to their art directions often being closer to Western aesthetic. Well at least for male characters.

Single player games will always have a better gameplay and story I think, but mmos have the social aspect to play with others that can boost the fun factor very high.

I don't care if you hate the anime style, even WoW doesn't have the kind of realistic graphics all MMOs want to use nowadays. You'd think they'd take that hint at least.

Everything is either wannabe "realistic", that stupid "realistic anime" style China likes with its MMOs that people confuse for Korean ones, or that horrible Eden Eternal or Luna Online style with ultra deformed, huge boobed, midget characters, disgustingly cutesy style, and eye bleeding colors. None of them have anything fun to do either, not even fight.

Tera, EU. However I recently unsubscribed because the community is shit, the endgame is shit, Nexus is SHIT, the itemization is shit, and there's really just no motivation for me to do anything now that I'm 60.

None. I consider getting GW2, but I haven't done any of the Hall of Monuments stuff in the first GW and I can't be bothered to do them either. It's also pretty expensive (EU version) and from what I played during the beta weekend it's greatly overhyped.

So yeah, it's a dead end for me.

I flatter myself that I was a damn good shadow priest, but I never got into the hardcore raiding thing. It was too much like having a real job, what with having to show up on certain days for so many hours and all. Also all of the ass kissing and drama was really something that I preferred to do without.

Anyways, I recently quit WoW like a few months ago myself. I only casually raided but you can only do the same content so many times before it gets boring. I played on an rp server so and I casually rped too but even that gets boring since all people do is hang out in taverns and act like big shots with their badass rp titles and theme songs by disturbed.
