The models are somewhat 3D aren't they? Not many VNs which uses that sort of sprite system have been ported (if any).

Been considering watching Steins;Gate. I played Chaos;Head and thought it was quite poorly paced, then watched the anime a year later and found the anime to be better.

The main question is perhaps if Steins;Gate is all whiny technogarble as VN, or if it is a bit faster paced.
