94482 No.94482 [Reply] [Original]

This thread is for those of us with NORMAL relationships with our sisters.

I've often wondered what it would have been like growing up with a brother, but to be honest I think I got pretty lucky having a sister, they tend to be nicer, especially if they are older, and are a lot more supportive.

I remember I was really upset one night because I had an argument with a couple of friends and my sister was going to go out clubbing but she heard me crying in my room (in b4 'loser' etc...) and decided not to go out and stay and watch a film with me instead.

I really love my sister (not in that way), and I'm glad I have one, both of you always have a shoulder to cry on and are a lot more open about your feelings than standard brother/brother relationships.

>> No.94487

I have both an older sister, and a younger half-sister. I never talk to my older sister at all any more, and my younger sister never seems that interested in talking to me.

Sounds pretty normal to me.

>> No.94490

If I had a sister, I think I wouldn't be as mean as I am to my brother.

Fuck that, the little bastard bothers me everyday and interrupts my fapping schedule. I want a sister so bad ;_;

I have a brother. He's rich, handsome, successful and content. And an alcoholic, just like me. I hung out with him in france this christmas and we had a blast. Before that we hadn't talked in ... I think six years. The kicker? He's born in 88.

That's exactly it though, male siblings don't bond as well as male - female siblings.

I genuinely love my sister, she's always been there for me whereas a brother would have just mocked me for my power level, loserishness with women etc...

>> No.94555

My best friend in high school had 3 brothers and no sisters. I spent a lot of time at his house, and I'm extremely glad I have sisters instead of brothers.

It was a constant warzone in his house, I'm not surprised he always wanted to play the vidya or anything else at my house, not his.

I have two sisters, and although we were never really close, they never got in my way and I never got in their way growing up. We did our own things. Although, they didn't get along with eachother sometimes.

tl;dr sisters >>>>>>> brothers

>> No.94571

My sister is 12.
We've watched Sister Princess and Nanoha together, and now we're watching Shugo Chara.
She has a crush on this one guy her age.
But he's such a loser weeaboo.
So I challenged him to a Pokémon battle to gage his worth, because that's what all older brothers do, right?
Anyway, I said I'd give him my Eigakan Darkrai if he could beat me.
All of his Pokémon were caught in masterballs and were at lv.100. But I was still able to beat the shit out of him. With a lv 50 Eevee evolution only team.
Getting back on track, little sisters are a lot better than little brothers.

Well, my youngest sister hasn't had a boyfriend yet, but my older (still younger than me by 1 year, but older of the two younger sisters) sister has.

She generally has decent taste in guys and doesn't go out with trashy losers, so I never minded.

It does make me a bit sad to have such a popular sister since I've only had one girlfriend ever, but I'm glad my sister doesn't go out with hopeless cases.

I'm a bit more worried about my youngest sister when she hits that age, since she's part of the whole MTV Abercrombie & Fitch Paris Hilton blonde ditz scene.

This Anon has an Older Sister. She moved into my room for a really long time(Untill me and my parent's moved). We pretty much fought alot since I have a tendancy to stay up at night browsing the internet. She bought me nice things and even understood my eating habits. I'll admit im a Nigger, but I absolutly hate chicken, which my parents tried to have EVERY SINGLE WEEK. She usually went out of her way to make me something special that we'd share.

I believe she was aware of my porn though since sometime's she'd walk into my room and I would be like "Oh shi-" and turn the moniter off.

Sure it sounds nice overall but we seriously did not get along well what so ever. We had problems with sharing my room so many time's it wasnt even funny. I even got to experience that "Walk in on your sister while she's changing" scenario.

Aside from my much-older sisters (5 of them, who are all 30-ish, and with stable families of their own), I have three immediate (around my age) sisters, two younger and one older.

The youngest is an obese, overweight, irresponsible dipshit that lies, steals, and has a kid of her own. She's only a better parent than Britney Spears because she has neither the money for nor the access to the stuff Britney gets fucked up on. She also smokes, and has run away from home on multiple occasions.

The other younger sister lies a lot, but is probably the most stable of the immediate sisters, and is going to junior college. She also ran away from home.

And my just-older sister has married a slacker and is a delusional twat who believes that getting married makes your relationship magically better. I went to college with her, but after a year, she flunked out because she was spending all her time on dating sites and fucking guys she met on Yahoo IM. Also, I wanted to fuck her in the worst way.

I hate the youngest and oldest; the middle sister has my grudging respect for not being such a terrible fuckup.

tl;dr, there's a reason that people adopt infants rather than older kids: the abuse of their birth parents' household hasn't yet sunk in.

I have an older sister, and I'm usually glad for every moment we spend apart. When we were kids, she was a right demon, always bullying me or doing whatever she could to make me feel bad.

My two favorite memories of her are:
1. When we were kids, during a church luncheon, my sister got into a sudden bitchy mood, grabbed me by the face, and slammed the back of my head into the corner of a very pointy table.
(That's the bad part of the memory, but there's a much sweeter feeling of divine justice that follows.)
Immediately, my mother dragged her to the ladies' room by the ear, and for the next five minutes, you could hear the spanking, even through two walls and around three corners.

2. The day she came back from her first semester of college to find that her shrimpy little brother (i.e. me) had grown to outpace her own height by a full head in her absence. The attempts at bullying stopped after this - gee, I wonder why?

No, I'd say having an older sister sucks ass. At least if I'd had an older brother, the whole "you shouldn't hit girls, blah blah" shit wouldn't have been there.

I dunno, I haven't exactly thought about but...they're already plenty romantic to me, giving me stuff on Valentine's Day, B-Day, Christmas, etc. I mean, they're all great guys but a serious relationship like that would be...awkward? I mean, I have so much stuff on them but they can do the same with me so it could get really bad if we ever got into serious fights and stuff. Most people that have sexual fantasies about a sibling, haven't actually had a sibling of that type.

Every single sister/brother relationship I've seen growing up is an on and off power struggle. e.g: brother is playing something, sister wants to play also, brother says no, sister starts crying and runs to parents like a brat to get her way, sister hurts herself while playing and starts crying again, brother cuddles up to little sister and comforts her. Repeat, over and over.

Every relationship I've ever seen growing up, is either the older sister is distanced and/or a bossy bitch, and the younger sister is a whiny brat. Anyone who's grown up with such siblings would immediately have zero attraction or sexual thoughts for said siblings.

The people who have sexual fantasies for a little sister for example have not had a sister, or haven't had a sister that fits the archtype they want, what they want is the fantasy of a female that's always in your life everyday growing up, you're forced to be around everyday and protect. Throwing sex in there leads you with the ideal and convenient relationship.

Is it realistic? No.

"[T]he things I've done" refers to the Ever17 timelines and the Kokuhaku and M CD translations. I have no intention of bringing harm to anyone.
...honest.

Also, my tripcode says WAHA.

Well, that is kind of what /jp/ was made for (the 'superfluous' stuff that some of us loved about /a/). Anyways yep, definately, we anons are always here for advice if you need it.

Okay I think I'm crazy, I'll do it and see what happens. Que sera sera Anon, if I push it really will make our relationship awkward, if I let it go it's natural course it'll all work out in the end. That's my personal motto and I won't break it or try and stop it: "It'll all work out in the end anyways"

>This thread is for those of us with NORMAL relationships with our sisters.

Thread sure got derailed.

This thread has made me realize that I don't even know you anymore, Anonymous. Real sibling incest? Really? Kissing cousins I understand... but this? You've become a complete stranger to me Anon.

> Real sibling incest?

Don't you remember swincest-kun? This isn't new. Incest's not for me, but swincest seemed pretty happy with what happened, and was damn depressed until we altruistic anons helped him get back together with his sister.

>>96258

Well obviously you always have the alcohol excuse. Just try and take the initiative, given that he sounds like a hikki NEET of satou proportions, he probably needs it.

It was normal...still kind of is with people posting about bitchy/annoying older/younger sister(s)/brother(s) or people saying they'd like a sibling for non-incestuous purposes. Thread is only half-derailed if you think about it and did you miss the incest threads when /a/ and /jp/ were one and the same? There were a ton of bro-sis relationship wannabes, have-beens, etc.

I started browsing late 2003 then I moved over to 5chan for a bit. Admittedly I was a /b/tard for a few months but I haven't browsed that board regularly since 2005.

>> No.96338

stop this infighting you fags, we were discussing delicious brother - sister love.

>> No.96340

I'm a girl. My brother's two years my senior and is a mega jock; he's tall, so tan he's orange, and can't live for five minutes without human contact. My exact opposite. We had no respect for each other and fought all the time when he was still living here, sometimes physically. I only managed to hit him once, and that was when I threw the remote at him and hit him between the eyes. He promptly threw me at the fridge.

Now that he's moved out and visits only occasionally (and has a girlfriend that's straightened him out somewhat), we get along just fine. We did have some cute moments as kids, mostly stuff that had to do with video games. I would ask him to beat the hard bosses when I played, and I would stick around while he played his own games and offer suggestions on what to do.

Yea... but I always took those threads with a grain of salt. I mean everyone who doesn't have a little sister reads incest mangas and wish they had one, but those who DID have little sisters would usually comment on how annoying they were or how real incest is never really an attractive prospect. I'm just surprised that there are people who don't mind such a relationship with a sibling.

>> No.96352

>>96344

Not really, there were plenty of cases where people with sisters did genuinely like them. It's the exception to the rule admittedly, but that doesn't mean it should be inhibited, considering it's so infrequent and there's no having kids involved, who the fuck cares? Let people pursue what they want.

One thing I can really appreciate about anime, it's definitley taught me acceptance of all relationships. As Clamp would tell us, love just happens, it doesn't choose gender or anything, it just happens

>> No.96394

Exactly. I mean, I could understand the 'societal concern' that people profess if there was some kind of incest epidemic, but it's like... 1 in a fucking 1000 or something. So who cares? Let people love who they want.

Misaki, I would have killed to have a sister like you when I was growing up.
...Well, technically, I did, from birth to about 6 or 8, but the bits between now and then, I really could have benefited from that.

You are doing something truly great.
