If it's not identified, it's automatically worth only 1% of it's normal value. Shopkeepers don't want to get a cool looking cape, only to find out it's cursed so badly it's trash. Also, try to make friends with shopkeepers, have a skill in bartering and other stuff to get buy prices lower and sell prices higher.

Only bother to identify weapons/armor before selling if they are worth about 30 GP unidentified. Potions, Scrolls and Books should generally be identified, since they usually sell for more than the cost of identifying.

About the Weapons/Armor, when they are sold you can check them out in the shop's inventory and buy them back if you decide you want them.

This is great if you're overwhelmed or you have a giant line of enemies coming at you down a hall, just blind the one in the lead, then cast some bolts at the guy farthest away and it will hit them all.

also most of the delivery quests are impossible to do in the time limit with your slow speed.

Go with the default humanoid Yerles race. It has great stat bonuses all around, and a HUGE bonus to learning, which is awesome. If you play a high learning character then play a low learning one, you'll see what I mean.

I don't know why everyone likes the Claymore class so much. IMO, PV > DV, since there's less chance involved, so go with a Fighter, and just make sure you put a few feats on speed and stuff. Bingo, you have a light-speed brick wall that can actually protect your loli instead of vice-versa.

I play as a wizard, and I have more spellbooks and scrolls than I know what to do with. Half of them I can't even read without opening some dastardly dimensional portal, and the rest are weighing me down because I can level huge amounts of enemies with them before I need to read it again.

Any suggestions? My house is already filled with books.

In Derphy there is a slave trader where you can buy another one. There are other ways too, but they're a bit random. If you get a wish, you can wish for one by typing in companion or friend (or something along those lines, brings up the pet selection dialog again). Pick up any Diaries you come across too and read them in a safe place. There's a chance the owner will appear and join you (usually a loli or a catgirlwizard).

As for getting a caster pet, the only reliable way to get one would be the capture or obtain a creature/person that's already a spellcaster. You can modify your pets skills using genetics but usually they'll still get in the fray because their melee skills are better.

Well now my Ran Tank is all leashed up. Just gotta throw this monsterball at a new little girl, make her back into Chen, and give her some light armor/weaponry and my trio of Tank-Ran, Stabby-Chen and Shooty-Yukari is complete.
