Pointless moe is the best moe. Once you get to a point in your anime-watching career, you either fall into one of two categories:

Creepy, old faggots that watch nothing but homolust-laden space opera and mecha

Or

Glorious, well-adjusted men who use anime as an escape and complement to other media, and thus, that watch nothing but cute girls doing cute things-because watching anime about spacehomos is giant robots is for losers. It is a way to relax from a hard day of not smelling like cheetos and/or dried semen.
