Since there are so many Touhous already, what kinds of designs are left for ZUN?

I'm pretty sure he covered like 90% of fetishes.

I'd like to see an eyepatch Touhou next.

There are not nearly enough fairy touhous.

Design wise, ganguro since it fell out of style, it should be in Gensokyo now. There's no cutesy magical girl style girl either, just witches. Kinda strange even when everyone's covered in frills. There's different kinds of goddesses and maybe even more mikos. Technological based outsiders.
Cyborg lolis would be pretty progressive.

There's also the other asian things like those vampires whose heads can fly off, and I don't think there's an actual dog touhou, just wolf and echobear.

There's also a whole world of reptiles to be explored. There's only a snake as it is.
