Have you ever thought about writing a book, /jp/?

If so, what would you write about?

I would write it about nonsense because I have no good ideas.

>> No.9437941

Pretentious drivel about nothing in particular, probably involving substance abuse, awful narrative technique and the absurdity of modern life.

I tried once. I ended up deleting everything after one paragraph and changing the plot completely a few times. After a while I gave up. It was all pretentious shit or nonsensical fantasies.

Sounds like it would be a best-seller and taught in high-schools for years to come.

I would write about a person that fell into a coma and after his awakening, he would find himself in a world devoid of human life.

It would be awful in quality, but it's one of the things I want to try doing before I pass on.

You just reminded me I was supposed to write today the two final chapters of one of the three sides of a story I'm writing. I like to imagine that it'd be a great book, selling lots and then using the money to fulfill some wild fantasies, but I don't think the book would appeal to too many people. It's a tale of a desolate post-apocalyptic world and the people living in it, with some fighting in the mix but always with a fairy tale-ish, optimist view that hides, yet hints, at the hardships people go through. Not the "optimist", SILLY! humouristic style portrayed in fallout, though.

So the adventures of a little girl dragging this old and tired dog around, that seems to have no motivation to keep on living but has a penchant for suddenly going into philosophic banter and praising the colorful elements of live, claiming to be admiring art when he actually is just autistic.

Hmph. Worse has been written.

It sounds pretty bad-you should elaborate if you want to change my opinion.
I write bad stories too, though. It's hard to write fiction that isn't shitty.
