Oh yeah, there's this cool game for the Famicom called Lagrange Point. It uses like the most advanced sound chip on the system so it sounds more like a Genesis. Plus, it's just an ambitious game overall in many regards.

I played it for a bit because the technical aspect interested me. I'll have to wait a few more years for the fan translation or somehow get the motivation to continue with Japanese if I'm going to finish it.
