Gonna be in Japan for quite a bit of august, with not much planned.
Can anyone recommend any sort of out of the way neat places I wouldn't find otherwise? also just some general recommendations of places to go/eat/see?

Do you know about Nakano Broadway? There's a lot of otaku stuff there.
Kyuu Iwasaki-tei Teien, Kyuu Furukawa Teien, and Kyuu Maeda Koushaku-tei Youkan. Try googling it. You'll understand why I recommended it to you then.

I often went to Tsutaya for new manga, Book Off for used stuff. Book Off is real cheap, but new manga is only about 400 yen anyway. I mostly went their for cheap used CDs.
