This reminds me of those people who try really hard to look all otaku. Our friend here is trying to learn with the jap audience who buy limited edition games that come with figs, dakimakura, illustrations and god knows what else. Except in his case he's just buying permission to play a game on DRM. For cheaper than it usually is. Because he wants the companies who make the games to get money. Even though on sales the money they get is much less, even more so when considering valve takes a big cut of the sale profit.

First person to respond to this post guessing which touhou is my favorite will get anything that's on steam for $20 or less as a gift from me.
