Since you were using characters who can't be hit by Kohaku's IjC when crouching, blocking the cactus was the thing to do. For the bush, block in corner, or if you're midstage you can try backdashing but you'll probably get grabbed. Depending on the timing, you can sometimes jump out. As for the drill-tree, counter-grab like you did once, but a good read will make you grab air and eat an air-combo. You can also either block and possibly get grabbed or air-block and avoid a grab, but it will leave you open to 5a -> air-combo. I guess back-dashing is also an option, but if I use the drill-tree I'm probably going for a grab anyway so it wouldn't save you. I should learn to use KohaHisu to have actual non-plant mix-ups instead of going jB/jC ALL DAY LONG.

Jesus, I've been dropping combos left and right recently, and it's not like I've had any long breaks or anything. If I actually manage to get off a jump after the launcher, I'll be lucky if I get one hit in. In practice I'm still good, but even delay 2 makes me look like a jumping, HOAAAAing lunatic who's hitting thin air. Any tips?
