All it really proves is that lesser races are capable of moving stones. We're capable of critical thought and scientific advancement. Whites are a minority in the world, yet we have a better track record than blacks, even the ones who have equal access to all the same learning materials and equipment.

The only blacks who become famous are the ones who become famous because they're blacks. MLK is the obvious example, but now there are also people like Neil deGrasse Tyson who become part of pop culture because of the color of their skin. I don't doubt the guy's a good scientist and a great speaker, but there are thousands of white scientists who never got the same opportunities as him because they weren't from a minority race.

Judging a book by its cover makes sense though. The cover tells you all about a book because that's what it's supposed to do. It's like a movie trailer. And, as with movies, sometimes there are good books with bad covers, or bad books with good covers. But at least they're generally indicative of what the book is like. And even if you think you're above such things consciously, you're still subject to all the same cognitive biases the rest of us are. You are going to judge the book by its cover whether you realize it or not.
