Can I be a healer?

I've grown pretty fond of archer characters lately.

I'll be Archer.

I'd rather be a dual wielding specialist ranger than a bow specialist.

Gunner, i have experience with 'nades and muzzle fired rifle 'nades, never used a bow in my life.

Healer that need sex for MP

Archers are cooler, they get to be one with nature, survivalists and stuff. Gunners are just tech slaves, specially on these fantasy settings where the guns aren't anything special to begin with.

Definitely gunner, as soon as I get my gun I can blow my brains out.

So far, the only gunners Ive seen are the guys that fired the rocket at Shinku in season one when he deflected it, and Ricotta. Rico is more of a stationary artillery user though.

As far as archers there's lots of generic footsoldiers, and the bunny girl from Genoise.

Season 2 will have more gunners but they will most likely just be shooting majical beams and spellcards, not bullets.

I'd rather be a warrior or a knight or some kind of melee class.

At the same time I am too intimidated to try and lead parties and pulling mobs and tanking because I dont want the rest of my party to get mad at me if they find that I am doing something wrong.

So I always end up either playing by myself or become a branch off of the melee class that focuses on dps than being tanky. But deep down I would like to tank and protect the ones who I care for. It's like in my past life my ancestors were great warriors and my instinct wants me to fulfill that lineage in becoming a great warrior just like my ancestors and honer them. But if someone says a negative comment to me if I were to try to tank, that comment would be floating around my head for days and I wouldn't join parties anymore because of it.

I only play DPS Paladins.

I don't think you understand healers. We have the most power in the party, tanks are just rarer to come by. I have control over people and if the tank wants to insult me, I'll be happy letting him perish. If a damage dealer is being an idiot, he can try and keep himself alive. It will take a lot for a tank to try and kill the group without killing himself, for healers not so much. We aren't as passive and obedient as you might think.

But of course, if people aren't being stupid then none of that matters and we can go about our business with no fuss and everything being happy.

Wrong. The tank always has the most power in any MMO, just because they're rare. If you let the tank die, they would rather kick you than do anything to the tank. If the tank is an ass, people suck it up because they're not going to wait forever again just for another tank.

I usually play debuffers, but when I find one or two buffing abilities in my ability list, I get really happy because I get to help my group directly. Maybe some MMO has a nice debuffer/buffer class that isn't completely useless alone.

I usually play as archers in MMOs because they're usually overpowered and can solo.

I also like weird magic classes like alchemists and sages and also the "lesser" kind of magic skills. I'm not really a fan of raining death from the sky. My favorite magic skills in RO were Jupitel Thunder and Soul Strike and Napalm Beat and frost Diver. Also Sight Rasher.

I wish there was a new game with fun magic skills. At least archers are always the same.

Sure it would provide an advantage. The sinew of a bow should only be taut for a few hours at a time, so a second bow would allow you to have a larger frame of time where you are actually armed.

New director. The old director was the guy that directed A's and Strikers and the Movies. The old director was too busy finishing up Movie 2 so they decided instead of making Dog Days 2 shit because the director would be too busy to care about making it good, they just went with a new director. The new one directed the later seasons of Ranma 1/2.

Seven Arcs and Aniplex are rolling around in tons of Nanoha money, and they are from the same creator, so the events in Japan for Nanoha have now become joint Nanoha/DD events, which really helps the huge nanoha fanbase enjoy the other work.

They also realized that since this is a great chance to finally make a animalgirl anime that wasn't shit, that they would keep it cute and actiony to appeal to everyone, yet put in more fanservice in s2 to appeal more to hardcore otakus. Yukki wasn't an important character in season 1, but she was incredibly popular amoung fans so it makes sense they would make her the token big tit character.

It's Masaki Tsuzuki, so even if she has big tits and has fanservice, the show is never going to go into downright lewd category. He's really good at restraint and keeping respect up for his series.

Wanko was created by a company called Ivory. Masaki Tsuzuki (creator of Nanoha and Dog Days) used to work for them but as far as I know he only had part in creating one visual novel called Triangle Heart in 1998 in which he was the original creator, and then the sequels. What's interesting, is Nanoha's older brother was the main Triangle Heart character along with her entire family. Nanoha was a side character.

Masaki ended up pitching the idea of a magical girl anime featuring Nanoha and it took off.

Wanko was published by Ivory in 2006, and the first Nanoha came out in 4th quarter 2004, so I do not believe he was working with them anymore when Wanko came out, since he was working on A's. For all I know, he still owns Ivory and just pays people to do the work.

Also, if you go on EX, you can see some of his old art back when he used to draw futa doujins. The man's art used to be absolutely terrible, but the doujins are lengthy and have arcing storys, so it was obvious he was wanting to become a writer for a long-running series.

I still am confused though as to what kind of person he is. Some people claim Masaki is actually a woman. I don't know if he even goes to Nanoha events. He is very secretive and I would love to know any info I can.

As big as Nanoha is, you would think there would be lots of interviews with him translated, but I can't find any.

Yes, it was neat getting into Nanoha at a later date since I could marathin all the series. I really liked how retro his character designs were with the characters having poofs of hair on one side of their heads.

I really don't see much Nanoha character designs in dog days, but every once and awhile I see a little scene or something that makes me thing: wow, this is by the Nanoha guy.

I hope season 2 of DD becomes more like Nanoha with the magical devices and whatnot.
