As for his hard life, everyone has it hard, not just him. He seriously needed to consider becoming qualified in something that would earn him money in the long run if he didn't want to be a NEET later on in life. Video game player isn't a sustainable career.

I like to think that, with the insane amount of hard work and dedication that these pros in sc2 and LoL put into the game, they would thrive in pretty much any other field that they jump into.

This is true for koreans in sc2 (they go on to become coaches, TV stars, etc.), but maybe/probably not for the NA scene
