i actually try speaking to my mother in english, i only realize after she gets confused. i often find it hard to translate my thoughts, i can't find the right words.

don't read and write anything in polish

It does not matter if I forget most of the vocabular as I would be able to English (or any other language) words in my sentences and get my point across if the other person knows the word I used. I got to the point where I always install my PC software in english, since I feel more comfortable reading english rather than my own mother tongue (portuguese).

I'm somewhat in NEET mode too, so when I do have to talk to someone in portuguese it comes out awkward and weird. I tend to think in english first and try to translate what I thought into portuguese later.
