When is that FFXIV relaunch supposed to be out?

I remember that time when I hit 16 and could not kill mobs my level anymore. Felt good to uninstall it.

I still play and run my own event linkshell on Ragnarok. Been playing with the same crew for six or so years.

Still playing it. Stopped playing like 4 years ago, but I returned like a year ago. Can't wait for more info on Seekers of Adoulin.

I think it's playing on her "seven colored magician" aspect. I agree with you, though. PUP would certainly make more sense aside from the color scheme.

I played in 04 ...got to level thirty and had to move to an area with crappy internet...so i wasnt able to play anymore. Then once i got dsl i got back on and found the server mainly full of lvl 60+ ...no gear for low levels in the AH...uninstalled and havent cared since

Why is FFXI not free to play yet?

The only fun I had in that game was the fishing.

I found myself leveling up just so I could go fish in new places.

Played it for a good 2 years. Had fun at the time, but looking back, all the design flaws are pretty apparent. I mean, out of the 14 classes (when I played), 2 and a half were tanks, and only 1 was a healing class? What a nightmare. Glad I switched to PLD when I did.

I'd love to play it again if it ever went free.

Is it still $15/mo?

I played for nearly 8 years. Didn't quit until after my LS was dying thanks to Abyssea being the only worthwhile content and the last one was released something like 10 months prior. With news of a new boxed expansion in the works, I'm actually kind of excited. If it turns into another ToAU I might go back. I still love how FFXI's mechanics work in contrast to WoW or its clones, but I can't see myself ever going back without my LS. We were together for 7 years or something along those lines.

Unfortunately, even with me still having contact to most of the old LS, we would be lucky to round up 10 members, and even if the new expansion added some real, worthwhile, and fun endgame content, I doubt 10 players would be enough unless they go full-on Abyssea and make everything low-mannable.
