GGs. Against the bento box oki, you can generally poke me and still be able to block in time, counter grab (if you think I'm coming in for a grab), or jump out of it to make things harder for me. I'm not sure if Akiha has a good move to use against that on wakeup. Pretty sure our matches would have been drastically different if you could complete your combos and get out your own oki setups, I'm not too far above you in terms of ability.

well my DP is among the worst in the game, i don't even remember to use it mostly. So i have to be imaginative. And I'm basically learning as I go because I have probably never played against hisui before. So it stands to reason that my normal combos and shit that I normally do are going to get borked because I get anxious trying to react to the situation. Plus I can't even complete them all the time in practice mode.

What Hisui side should do is 5B meaty, leaves her in a much more favorable position against anything that is not a DP. Afterwards you can dash grab and still make it before bento, and they get hit by bento if they want to poke. Follow up with 2B afterwards to beat pokes or combo from 5B.

Although, knowing how your characters moves helps if the execution is too complicated and you want to simplify it a little. What character do you have in mind anyway?

I mainly play Tohno. A lot of his good knockdown combos are really hard, even Shikkii seems to drop them half of the time... I suppose I should pay more attention to what he does post-airthrow, though.

You should spend more time in the air, especially with the characters you play. Both Wara and WLen have pretty good aerial moves.
Don't try to poke during my blockstrings, unless I really abuse throws or resets. In 90% of situations it's better to escape by backdashing (only midscreen) or jumping.
Also, when you do knock me down, you have to press your advantage. Start with a meaty and threaten me with blockstrings. Sometimes you were putting me in the corner and then went away. That's a big no-no. I did zero reversals or wakeups heats during all the matches so there really was no reason to do that.
