The only thing cursive has ever helped me with is when I fail to remember a certain term I'm asked for in a written test. I make a squabble that looks like something readable and the teacher marks it as correct.

I wish I could write cursive. All I know is my name and even then that isn't really cursive. :(

Also, this thread really took a U-turn.

I really should practice cursive, just so I can stop feeling awkward about always writing my signature in print. I can technically write it in cursive, but it takes five times as long to write and looks terribly sloppy (though this is obviously an issue of lack of practice). When I have someone looming over me, waiting for my signature, I want to finish it as quickly as possible.

Congrats OP, I just MIGHT start practicing.
