I don't see much appeal in Yume Nikki clones. Yume Nikki was great, but it was great because it made costantly say: "what the fuck is that?!"
Once you lose the surprise effect, you lose the reason to play. And after Yume Nikki nothing can surprise me anymore.

PS: the ending could have been better
