Final Fantasy Tactics. FFTA and FFTA2 are not real entry in the series. They are more like the Mystic Quest of Final Fantasy Tactics.

There this one game made by Game Freak called Drill Dozer. It's pretty much the only game that they made that's not related to Pokemon in the last 17 years.

It's a really fun and polished game, albeit a bit easy/simplistic.

It's been almost nine years since I played FFTA but I remember reading on a few forums at the time that the localization and translation pulled a FFVI and removed the more mature themes (suicide, getting drunk because kids can't get drunk and some other crap).

I am planning on playing through the NTSC-J version at some point so I can compare and contrast just how horrible the NTSC version was. I am pretty sure there was a PAL version as well and it's the same.

They are fun if you don't coming in expecting it to be as deep story and gameplay-wise as FFT and TO but FFTA was still really fun and addictive.
The DS one was shit though.
