Ran for me. Does she have anything going for her other than nosebleeds, screaming Chen's name, and streaking? It's a shame that even in canon she doesn't have all that much going for her. Good at math? Sure, Yukari's better. Cool theme? Sure, but Necrofantasia's better.

Let's see. Zun made an arranged version Ran's theme and it turned out so good that it became Yukari's.

Yukari's original purple dress was replaced by one that was similar to Ran's in IaMP and IN.

Heck, just being an EX boss and then being one upped by a Phantasm stage is painful.

That's why they put her in Baquartet. Right. But I guess even that's better than the majority of her fanon "appearances" as a characterless, featureless and basically brainless food source. No, thank you (I can't be arsed to look for the accompanying shift-jis art, so just imagine it's here).

And besides, ZUN has just recently destroyed any past and future chance for the fandom to conceivably improve Mystia in any way. They had eight years worth of chances and failed to do what the man was able to do in one picture. I guess that's why he's in charge here.
