As far as I know, /vg/ is going to stick to ship 4. During the beta, other undesirable groups used their pastebin and congregated in ship 4 as well, so there are people in the thread trying to keep their secret club super secret by stating they're going to ship 2, and clueless ones insisting it's ship 4.

I think following /vg/ is a fine idea because it allows for finding more english-speaking allies if you so desire.

I was part of the /vg/ circlejerk in CBT, and they were obviously a bunch of gay nerds. Rather play with them than no one at all if I can't group with anyone else.

In PSO they always contained some sort of rare, unique weapon or item. Now they usually contain a normal weapon that you can add an element and an attribute to. It IS possible to get a rare from them, but don't count on it.

Also, tekking costs a dickload of meseta now, proportional to the quality of the item.

No. TP regenerates over time and by connecting attacks.

The old TP system is pretty much gone.

Everybody has 100 TP even Casts and every skill that isn't a normal attack uses between 20-40 TP. Each successful normal attack against a monster recovers like 5-15 TP depending on if it was ranged or melee and how hard you hit it. Also it takes like maybe 8 seconds to fully recover all 100 TP.

Forces get skills that up their max TP, but with a level cap of 20 in the closed beta I only got up to like 130 TP.

Honestly, it felt really weird at first but I think its a change for the better. Except the whole FOcast thing.. I still can't quite get over that..

That was actually how my skill tree was set up in CBT, nobody else used it because it wasn't as strong as just charging up Gifoie, but fuck was it so much more fun. Theres an entire skill tree line for stronger uncharged techs, Just Attacks on techs, and recovering more TP on strikes.

Looks like there's no boss for the desert map, but you might need 3-4 players to successfully to the stupid oil drilling minigame at the end to complete it.

Recommend 2 players at each and mash use on the drill when it flashes.

2nd option in the mission counter should show all the rooms up. Then you go through the door in between the two counters. I think you just do the level to complete it.

You shouldn't need to switch, they're basically the default. Honestly, I'd go with them. They feel a lot more natural in this game for some reason. I'm not sure that I like that, but it's how it is.

We still failed it, I guess someone got touched by it but the timer kept going till zero so we had no idea.

Also ran into that drill collection quest in the forest area randomly. Not a big fan, but it is a good idea.

Hotglue and PizzaClub were there, plus a bunch of guildless users who just wanted the rifle.
A good half of the block 42 users had English names, but I didn't invite them into Hotglue until I could confirm they were from /jp/.

It'd help if you could post your name in the thread when OBT hits, since guild invites require you to meet ingame.
