We need to die by something more natural, like an heroicity or by committing Sodoku (only if you dishonred your waifu or /jp/), only then, we will reach Gensokyo, probably as a spirit, but with enough NEET power, we will have the body we want and probably a power adjusted to our taste or we will reborn as a random loli Youkai. Try searching for platforms that have fast trains that don't stop as well as slow trains; jump in front of the trains that aren't scheduled to stop. Especially in London, UK, there's a lot of stations that have two sets of tracks for that purpose, and if you jump down and run over to the second one a train wouldn't stop in time.

But that's just a suggestion and you'd probably terrify a poor train driver for your own selfish reasons and should feel bad about that.

Why do you want to kill yourself anyway? I've been there. I spent around half a year constantly thinking of the best way I could kill myself. In the end I'm glad I deliberated it so long, because it really wasn't the right thing to do. Even though your situation can seem entirely hopeless for months or even years, that doesn't mean things won't improve in the future.

It's probably completely futile trying to reason with people on /jp/, but I'm not heartless enough to wish death on anyone.

>>9145564
Yeah, I forgot about fast trains because we don't get many near where I live. It would be guaranteed death but you would still have to time it well and convince yourself to do it at just the right moment. It wouldn't be easy at all.

Also you would cause massive delays for the whole line.

Others may disapprove here, but I think not being sober may make this a lot easier. I'm not 100% suicidal (yet), and the more dramatic methods (jumping, trains) scare the hell out of me usually.

One time, however, I had been drinking a lot and went to get a train. There was a strange moment when I saw the train quickly approaching, then looked at the tracks, and honestly if I wanted to die at that moment it would've been so easy to just jump. It wasn't even a matter of willpower... I just felt like I could easily just step off the edge and disappear in peace... actually it was quite a pleasant feeling. Calming.

If it's a group thing you probably want to use liquid nitrogen and seal a room. Duct tape, plastic, and a few litres of liquid nitrogen.
Spill the liquid nitrogen and it will boil quickly, pushing out all oxygen and carbon dioxide in the room. Bigger rooms require more nitrogen, obviously. But the nitrogen will take a few minutes to boil completely, and the room will be 99% nitrogen for about 15 minutes, depending on various factors.
Anyway, asphyxiation is a curious thing. You'd think that it'd take about as long as it does to hold your breath, but what actually happens is the oxygen in your blood is breathed out since the body isn't designed to operate in oxygenless atmospheres. The lungs equilibrate CO2 and O2 with the atmosphere- when there's none of either, the equilibrium is pushed so that the oxygen in the blood is breathed out, and so when that blood then hits the brain it contains no oxygen, which causes unconsciousness. So it takes seconds to become unconscious, and it's not painful at all. Death follows in less than 5 minutes. The need to breathe is caused by CO2 in the blood- but you're breathing that out too so there's none of that. You pass out and then die.
I do think there will be lightheadedness- strong lightheadedness since you're fainting. Still, this is so quick a process that it's too late once it begins, you collapse. Liquid nitrogen spills are famously dangerous in scientific applications- hundreds and hundreds of times more than the actual cold, since the cold danger is pretty easy to handle. And you can pour droplets of it in your palm and it's fine. Fun to play with.
Same with pure nitrogen atmospheres in chemical plants. The deaths usually come in pairs. One person goes into the room, not knowing it's nitrogen, and collapses. Someone sees the guy laid out, runs into the room to investigate and then dies himself.

Success rate with automobiles is pretty low. And you have to find one, as well.
One, you have to take off or bypass the catalytic converter, which is a lot of work.
Two, you have to seal some sort of area- inside the car is usually used.
Three- get some sort of metal-non meltable tubing to attach to the exhaust, those things get hot. And how to attach it?
Then sit in the car with the pipe near you for 4-6 hours and you might be dead. And CO poisoning is damn easy to treat, too. High Oxygen and time.

Finding a way to not be disturbed with a running car for 5 hours is a little tricky. It's no less tricky than helium or nitrogen. The general idea with gases is to create positive pressure- you have an area, a bag, a room, whatever. Gas flows in (exhaust fumes, helium, whatever), and it continuously leaks out the holes and badly sealed parts of the area (either that or the bag pops), and this stops atmosphere from getting in, since the pressure inside the bag is higher than outside it, so the air outside doesn't have any potential to rush inside the bag. So, if you are inside, you do not breathe any air, you breath only the gas you're putting in.
Carbon monoxide is different since it's actually poison. You only need to breathe enough in terms of quantity rather than percentage.

And this is important- helium is not toxic. It kills by not being oxygen. You can't breath in oxygen along with helium, since that won't do anything. The atmosphere is like 75% nitrogen. Nitrogen is not toxic. Helium is not toxic.

You could technically asphyxiate yourself with any gas that isn't oxygen or carbon dioxide. But some like Hydrogen have problems in that it's explosive, and water vapour requires being 100C, which is an issue. Carbon monoxide pure would asphyxiate you, but it would poison you much faster.
Helium, nitrogen, krypton, any noble gas will all work great. Helium and nitrogen are recommended as they're the easiest to get hold of.
Argon might be possible to get too.
Krypton and so on might be a little too expensive.
Methane, again, too explosive.

Anyway- more expert advice:
Potassium cyanide is your best bet for poison. Quick, not particularly pleasant though. Guaranteed too, so long as it's done right.
Problem with poisons is vomiting. Vomiting is a very effective way to get rid of poisons in the stomach.
However, if you put the KCN solution (in water) in your ass, it'll absorb through your colon and not get vomited out. You'll still vomit though. Just it won't save your life.

And yes, I'm deadly serious- poison enemas. Not saying it'll be pleasant, but it'll be pretty quick and guaranteed, so long as you aren't disturbed.

As for drop- you can give yourself a drop if you like, like jump out of a window or whatever, but unless the fall is perpendicular to where the knot is you're more likely to bash yourself against the wall. But if you drop, the three things become more important.

Well if you think about the physical processes that are going on, you're going splat. If you land on your legs, they will slow you down by breaking into a million pieces. Although to be fair- it shouldn't be that painful.
If you've ever experienced falling over or whatever and you're on your ass thinking 'oh this is going to start hurting pretty bad soon', you'll know there's a pain delay.
But that's caused by adrenaline. I'm not quite sure actually, I have no idea. And hope I never will.

>>9145912
Expense, and it takes time and effort to set up. Most suicides are spur of the moment affairs- grab the pills, grab the guns, jump off a building. With this you need tubing, hot glue, helium/nitrogen canisters, you need to test the equipment to make sure it's working properly.
The catch is that it's difficult to set up, but the results are far superior.

Really? When I watched an intrudution for making one on youtube it was fairly simple.
Just attach a string to a bag and then put it on you head and close it with the string so that no oxygen gets in.

That's not an exit bag, that's suffocation.
Asphyxiation is different.
Suffocation is painful and terrifying, Asphyxiation is barely noticeable.
The true exit bag has the following principle:
A trickle of helium or nitrogen flows into the bag. The bag inflates, correct? This bag has a higher pressure than what is outside the bag. Eventually the bag will pop if it's airtight, so you put holes in it. So you flow some nitrogen into the bag and it is still puffed up, but gas is flowing out of the hole(s). No oxygen is getting in because the nitrogen is too busy trying to get out. The bag has positive pressure. It's this bag which you want to breathe in and out of. You inhale the air from this bag and it will be pure nitrogen, and when you exhale the exhaled gases from your lungs will be pushed out of the bag by the incoming nitrogen.
Strapping this entire system to your face so you don't need to do anything but lie there is the aim.
The flow rates of the nitrogen and the size of the holes have to be coordinated so that the bag doesn't explode or simply not have enough nitrogen in it. It's a little tricky, but not particularly difficult.
This is the principle behind CPAP masks. Although they're designed to let some atmosphere in depending on how closed the holes in the mask are. Easily fixed with some tape or glue or whatever.

Anyway, that's the principle behind it.
>>9145954
Helium is what is put into party balloons. You could either steal from clowns, or buy party supplies. Not particularly cheap, but easy to get. Nitrogen- well it's a little trickier but you can get welding supplies that have nitrogen/argon canisters. Although these will be big motherfuckers that require spanners and such to open.

No, it's impossible if you use the mask. Well kinda, but if you've ever stuck your head out a car window or into some stream of air, you'll know that you get kinda breathless. That's what will be noticed first.
There are exit holes for the gas in the mask. You're not piping it straight to your lungs.
So long as you adjust the pressure before putting it on your face it'll be fine.

As I've said before, the logistics of helium for multiple people doesn't make much sense.
Liquid nitrogen is used by hobbyists so should be available.
The reason you use liquid nitrogen is because if you use canisters and try and fill up a room, it just won't work. The flow rate will be too slow. You'd need like 20 canisters to fill a room. you need to flood a room, but flooding a bag or mask is a lot easier.

You'd each need your own canister and mask setup. And not a hotel, try and find some basement or something. (Worse ventilation).

I meant for the liquid nitrogen. For the mask stuff, sure it doesn't matter.
Have you seen gas cylinders? They're heavy and quite bulky. Hotel room doesn't make sense.
Better location would be, again, someone's basement. Just because it's private and you can rot in peace.

Are you implying there are no other suicide methods besides suicide by firearm? Or that you would personally choose no other suicide method besides with your guns and therefore can't do it? I'm sure if you're actually determined enough you'd find and work with other methods besides a bullet to the head. So you might as well have started off by saying 'I don't want to kill myself' (which is perfectly fine) instead of that lame ass 'I don't want to make gun laws more draconian'. An advantage of this government is that they aren't going to just stop with abolishing the long gun registry. Give them time and they'll loosen the laws even more. Their original support is from a bunch of hillbillys out west after all and less controls fits into their desire to be in lockstep with US policies.

Gun suicides:
Short barrel, large calibre. Don't aim at the prefrontal cortex (next to the temple), I'd aim at just above the ear. Or in the back of the mouth out the back of the head (make sure the aim is central, you want to hit the middle of the brain, not skim the edge and bleed to death).
Nice big cannon revolvers would be best.
shotguns are easier to get, but the barrel is long and the trigger far. And use heavy shot, not birdshot. Solid slug if you can.

I'm no expert on guns, but the biggest problem with shooting yourself is actually aim. It's easy to aim properly if you're shooting someone else, but if it's yourself you're going to jerk at the last second and miss the target and end up ripping face off and bleeding to death, or even worse, surviving.

Should work. You'd be anaesthetised and asphyxiated at the same time, so long as you weren't breathing any oxygen.
But then again, it's not readily available. You need to steal from a dentist.

Or you could spend like 7 years in dentists school, then when you find a job in a practice, steal the nitrous oxide and then kill yourself with it.
