I began to watch School Days a few months ago, and as I dove deeper and deeper into the series, the more and more I fapped to hentai of it. I continued to do so until the last episode.

Then I watched the series again...and again... and again... I found myself checking out Makoto every on-screen moment he had. I began to stop going to my regular sites just to look at hentai of one person: Makoto.

I eventually had thousands of pictures and some doujins of Makoto. I began to spend what others called absurd amounts of money on merchandise, and my apartment is coated with Makoto everywhere.

He is known as the God of /a/, aka MANkoto and is the pinnacle of all that is manly and GAR. His long list of accomplishments includes Man of /a/ 2007 and SaiGAR 08 Champion. Makoto spent most of his time in the anime hooking up with a number of girls from his class before Hosaka sacrificed himself to save Makoto in the finale. In my opinion, School Days is the best anime ever made. Why? Because i can relate to it as a person on so many levels. I too was a misunderstood as akid. What i love most is how it shows an almost complete hatred of MANkind and to that i can totally relate. I don’t wan’t to give away too much, It’s best to go into this one blind i think.

The Animation quality is good, the characters are great, you feel for most of the people in the story. It does a good job at telling a very twisted tail. I prefer to watch most anime subtitled, mostly because of the inflections, and the speech of the native japanese is so much more expressive. You really owe it to yourself to see this, especially if you are on the fence with anime because you think it’s so fluffy, gay, and childish or what not. This will slap you in the face.

What really won me over on this anime? THE GORE. This is one of the bloodiest cartoons i have ever seen. It is a blood bath in parts. Supernatural HORROR! My favorite genre ever. This pegs it on most accounts for me. I really was blown away by this. Not many things make me cry when i watch them, this did. This is a heavy heavy heavy story. And for that i tip my hat. give this a 10 out of 10.

Less than a week ago, I thought the premise of the show was the stupidest thing I'd ever heard. Makoto was just a meme, and I didn't even know any other characters. I've always believed that it was impossible to love a non-existant person, such as someone from an anime or a manga. I always thought "what's the point? They'll never exist, so there's no point."

However, last year, I watched this anime called School Days. The main character of the show is called Makoto, and ever since I finished it, I've spent hours on end saving pictures of Makoto. Sometimes I stopped to question myself about just why I was saving pictures of a 2D person, yet I continued doing so.

I've realised now, though, just why I was doing this. I've finally realised, /a/, I'm in love. In love with a 2D character. In love with Makoto.

Yes he is. He is a man who expected a girl to put out after dating her for a week, then when she couldn't realize the mistake she was making by not putting out, he was forced to fulfill his manly duties with another girl, then another, then slept with one girl's friend in a tough love situation, then did another of the first girl he made passionate love with's friends, then did three of the second girl he made love with's friends at once, all the while contemplating why his first girlfriend wouldn't put out, only to find out she had hooked up with his stupid and annoying friend. But he decided to forgive his first girlfriend and get back together when his mistress lies about getting pregnant (Makoto is too much of a pimp to fall for the deception), and slyly pretends to fall for the lie by telling her to get an abortion, ultimately leading the whore to stab him repeatedly in the chest because she is a psychotic bitch. He ended up shedding manly tears because he couldn't be with Kotonoha, who he loved very much. And following his brutal murder, the woman he dated, who rejected his love, broke up with, reunited with, and possibly would have made love with her that night, cuts his head off, goes insane out of grief for her beloved, kills the "pregnant" girl and then cuts her open to see that she was not pregnant. She then retreats in a fit of insanity with his head onto her yacht.

Overall, he is GAR and will be missed. He deserves no death and only praise for being a awesome and original character

Okay, so I finally decided to get off my ass and watch School Days(I'm watching the 7th episode as we speak). Oh God this shit is gold. This anime is the pure essence of GAR. Even better, is that I am a sucker for romance animes, so I'm getting much harder. I already know Makoto forms the Ultimate Harem and now I'm glad he does. When I see his foursome, it will be the highlight of my night.

It's ok to feel anger towards Makoto, I too, was misguided and thought it was an awful anime and had an awful lead. But, when you see the last episode, you will either have your eyes opened to the awesome GAR that is Makoto, or be broken by the sheer intensity that is his manliness, breaking down into a troll that spends all day trying to destroy Makoto's name. This will be because your mind is not yet ready to comprehend MANkoto, but, if you are lucky enough to realize MANkoto is indeed GAR, then you will adopt him as your sensei and Jesus, much like many before you.

And the new King of Rankings has been crowned – School Days has gone from pretty good to being possibly the best shounen romance anime ever. Every second oozes perfection, from the gripping suspense to the overbearing guilt, from the precise fanservice to the impeccably timed insert songs. SD is the zenith in the evolving formula of shounen romance, and has set a new standard which all subsequent shows will be compared to.
