EET/extrovert thread!

Post ITT if you are NOT a NEET and/or have a healthy social life.

Just finished uni, and I get a week off work. A prime chance to marathon a few VNs!

I bet you are the kind of person who also makes "feel" threads on /v/ and threads with controversial opinions on /a/ and then you think to yourself.

Nope, I'm serious. I know I'm not the only non-NEET here, and it's high time we had our own thread. Almost called it an "anti-NEET" thread, even.

Just because there are non-NEETs here doesn't mean that we have to raise our voice since we are basicly the outsiders on this board.
I'm one of them too but I only mention it when it is relevant to the discussion.
Usually I just try to blend in to avoid unnecessary trouble.

You are like one of these faggots who go out of their closet just to rub their little special snowflake attitude into everyones face

It's relevant now though.

I'm not looking to make a habit of these threads, I just think it might be nice to see things from the other side of the coin. Four years of NEET/hikikomori generals and we can spare having one thread shooting the shit about the opposite.

Why does everyone study this?

I considered it, but I like computers more as a hobby. Plus all courses use Java and Web stuff now. I'd like something that taught me C and used SICP. And actually about computers instead of a subset of what modern computers can do.

How are you finding it?

Splendid Jim.

I now know that you are not a NEET, like 3 other billion people out there. I hope you understand there are other cool places on the internet for you. Next you are gonna make a thread on /a/ saying "I know some of you guys here also think anime is shit".

Do you feel the great need to invade places made for other people? It's not a question for you to reply.. It's something for you to think about.

One of the main reason why people come to /jp/ though is because they DON't want to hear all the normalshit of the outside world.
They come here to be left alone by people like us.

We've had plenty of threads about what Western media we like or if such and such would work in a non-/jp/ context. Take it easy. Your replies are exactly what an invader would want. >How are you finding it?

Well I'm nearly done. Programming is the easiest shit since forever but somehow some people have some huge problems with it. Go figure. They can probably kick my ass in math which I am really really bad at for some reason.

I was taught in C++ mostly, but used languages (in classes) such as C and Java and MySql and assembly and Python and whatever Matlab's language is called. CS is not just programming, programming is just used as a means to solve problems. I was required to learn everything about computers, how memory, cpus, compilers, logic gates, adders, and so on work. I should technically be able to know what happens externally and behind the scenes from the moment I type, up to the end of a program's execution. On the programming end, getting experience with things like semaphores and multithreading and multicore programming was probably worth the money spent. (I wish I had taken a class on networks though)

You'd probably be learning more about things like automata and comparing the running times of algorithms instead of just typing out code. Even though programming is easy enough to learn on your own if all you want to do is code, there's a lot of things you'll probably have never thought about if you hadn't taken a few CS classes. You'll definitely be more efficient.

Posters who freak out about others not being NEETs are worse than the actual non-NEETs. You most likely can't be a NEET forever, there's no point in judging others for anything other than being a normal. Having a job doesn't make that person a normal. It could be you, in the future. I myself will probably have to get a job, since I can't get autism bucks forever and I don't intend to kill myself.

No need to be childish about this.

Places you can be a non-NEET and talk about eroge/touhou/etc: Lots

Places you can be hermit NEET scum of society: /jp/

But of course, they won't be satisfied, not until they've managed to eclipse the entirety of the internet. No matter how many places we leave seeking solitude, they'll just expand into. Hello, fellow EETs.

Just got back from work, my wife was waiting for me and I totally put my penis in her vagina.
Not much time for that, though. Not when you're studying English Literature / Anthropology amirite?
So I went upstairs and switched on my Mac. I started my essay, but I could hear my son playing his 'gamestation' in his bedroom.
I worry about that boy, when I was his age I was out slaying poon every night.

Several days ago while i was hosting a house party one of my school mates was telling me about some piece of cinema he watched. If you're a girl there's no reason to mention it anyway, unless it's that post in a thousand where it's actually relevant.

Then again, the problem with unspoken rules is that they are unspoken; but it still isn't hard to make a proper /jp/ post.
