Any advice on neutral game theory? All the better players can approach me with ease. I don't expect specific advice, but a general overview would be helpful.

It's slightly irritating because Ryougi is supposes to be have good neutral game and yet I see all these people dance the fuck around.

Cross ups. High-Low mixups. Set-ups. Frame-traps.

Fock all I have is a ridiculously long and horizontal airdash.

Also, it seems like you go for an airdash jb or jc after your airthrow, but it appears I can mash out of it if I'm fast enough. Just pointing that out.

Firstly, 1.30 is the latest patch for Actress Again Current Code. 1.03A was Act Cadenza's last revision if I recall correctly.

gg's Pinksui, damn you sure made me sweat for some of those victories. I was at a loss when you picked color 8 and Hisui as well-- that's my usual color scheme.

I don't trust dustlooping in netplay because the timing is pretty tight so I do an alternative 1 dust combo, less damage but more reliable. Also I don't do yayaya combos for the same reason-- I saw you try both (and succeed sometimes with dust).

If you punished counters more effectively you'd be pretty hard to stop. You noticed I was weak against grabs too and started doing some cool bento placings, you had me on my edge a lot. Was a pleasure playing against you.

For neutral game, I have no idea, hah. I just do what I think plausible, mostly throw stuff and put bentos, and 623[B] to try and guess jump-ins. When I can read a jump-in in time though, I usually go for the counter-grab in air and start a yayaya combo, which doesn't always work to the end for me, honestly.

As for blockstrings, hmm, I guess I did practice some blockstrings, mostly 6C6[C] which can be switched into 2C instead of the 2nd hit for a low hit. I think the most important thing is the ExDust though, that gives you a small frame of 4 hits to think of another combo to add into the string. Don't be afraid of putting the pressure, I think I used 400% circuit once and almost broke your guard.

Another thing to note though, to be honest 5[C] isn't very safe but I'm bad at reading it. You can sidestep it or shield(or bunker).

Getting combos finished. Getting those knockdowns and making the best use of the random hits you get will help the most immediately. It's why your Ries probably did best, she doesn't need many hits to do lots of damage. Play lots. Experience is good.
