Hey NEETs.
If you think "sorting your life out" is going to make you any happier, you're very wrong.

I'm as misarable now as an un-NEET as I was before, maybe even more miserable.
I just want to be a kid again ;_;

I just stopped having enablers. I wouldn't have stopped being a NEET otherwise.

Life sucks

This is an incontrovertible fact

But it's either life or death, so you either deal with life's suckiness or you die trying. Or, in some cases, not trying. Whatever, nerds.

Uncle Remus's guide.

Hell even if you live in a third-world shithole, there's a way you could have stayed as a NEET. You fucked up and it's your own fault.

I blame being more miserable on being older, not on my lost NEETdom. I would've felt the same if I was a NEET.
Sometimes I feel better when I'm at my useless job that anyone can do. I kinda understand workaholics. But the high goes away pretty fast.

Well continue on doing other things that normalfags do. Drink your sorrows away and enter into empty conversation/relationships in the social scene just to temporarily get your mind away from your real problems. Or get high and play 2hu. Whatever.

I'm guessing its a scattering of underage b&, with the majority being in their early-mid 20's, and then the rest is 30s 40s etc.

I felt pretty miserable as a NEET, but I find that keeping busy works for me. go workout, ride a bike, have an active job and work full days, and sleep a lot of your free time away. It makes my 1-2 hours of free time more enjoyable, and I hardly have time to dwell on being miserable.

when work slows down and I have time to self-reflect is when I feel miserable. But I was like that always as a NEET so whatever.

Also its genuinely nice to be away from parents and relatives.

I lost my neetdom for a horrible job. Sometimes I dream of just letting it all go and living as a travelling hobo. Or maybe I will find a nice house to squat in.

I'm pretty sure I saw a house that looked like it was being squatted in. There was countless junkmail stuffed through the hole for papers and vines covered the entire doorframe, but a window was broken and inside I saw on a shelf various condiments. Maybe I should turn up there with my knapsack, enter, and see if I can squat with the person there.

Then we will roam the streets and search through bins for food. I will have to get a laptop beforehand so I can charge it in store bathrooms and use free wireless when available.

What kind of jobs do you guys do? Can't get worse than stocking shelves at Loblaws now can it? Well, at least I have more money for alcohol and animu stuff.

OP here, I have the week off, nothing to do but stay in the house. I guess that's why I'm feeling miserable.

Few will find happiness in this life. Happiness is fleeting. There's always a part of you that wants more. Maybe meditation can help you control your thoughts. You don't what you want. Misery is a state of mind. You are not in control. Do not read this. Life is a longing that will never be fulfilled. Please die now. I want you to go. Don't leave me.

25 maybe, because it's usually from 21 to 29

then, you became a wizard, got out of this place, or are dead. In Gensokyo if you're lucky.

32 here, been NEET since 16.
When I finally hit wizard age it was like a huge weight has left my shoulders becuase my parents knew I was in it for the long haul. Not only did they stop pestering me about going normal, they also got a hell of a lot nicer.
I'll take it easy until they die, but since there's no inheritance I guess I'll just make portal after that.

Do you think that when NEETs think to "sort out their life" they're thinking of a job to get or what education to pursue? When I think about "sorting out my life" I think of what I want to do next. This usually ranges from what I want to eat, all the way to what I'd like to do in a few months. I decided in the winter that I would like to take a drive up north for a day trip, so I'm beginning to plan that out now.

I might become unNEET if uni let's me back in despite me failing 3 out of 4 quarters. I'm changing my major to something easier (I was Biochem) so I hope I pass. If I don't get a Bachelor's degree I will have spent the past 8 years on a few Associate's degree. I haven't been working so I'll have no experience to speak of if I end up failing out and trying to prematurely find a job. I might be getting autismbucks soon, too. That will be my highest achievement financially, is leeching off taxpayers. I wouldn't feel guilty about it either because I've applied to plenty of places and still no job. I deserve to be independent. I've worked to hard in college to get nothing for it.
