If there was Judgment in the world beyond, would you be prepared to face it?

>> No.9097004

I don't wanna die.

I'm only scared of waiting for it for a long time.

I don't think so. Maybe I'm just not thinking hard enough about it.

>> No.9097010

Of dying, not at all, not even a little. Of the possible pain before death, yes, quite a bit.

>> No.9097013

Yes. Otherwise I probably would have killed myself.

>> No.9097029

Deep down, most of you fear death.

>> No.9097032

Nope. If I fear death I won't be able to kill, right?

>> No.9097040

I guess I fear death deep down, and whoever says he doesn't is either inhuman or a liar.

But more than fear what I feel is annoyance. It pisses me off to no end that I'll have to die one day.

>> No.9097043

I don't know...

>> No.9097051

Sure. I fear it just like everybody else, but I'm also excited to experience what comes afterwards: I'm guessing it's going to be like a really intense DMT trip but where I end up in another body afterwards when my life energy gets recycled maybe.

>> No.9097054

Death is an inevitability, all that exists will eventually return unto the atoms from which all are formed.

>>9096999
It is up to the forces that be that will decide our fate after death should they exist, For all we know, our consciousness could just cease to be after our demise.

One should do what they can while alive to assure growth of the human race. Be it increasing our numbers or being innovative by leaving behind something to further our species advancement. Preferably the latter than the former.

>> No.9097057

Rather than try to be DEEEEEP, I'll just say yeah, dying is scary. I don't know what happens afterwards, and that's frightening.

Everyone knows they just don't want to admit it.
When you die you cease to exist
And you have "not existed" for billions of years before your birth, why do you think it will be any different after your death?
Also why do you think that you will maintaing your consciousness after a complete necrosis of your brain cells when you KNOW that even a few damage to your brain will cause it to black out completely.
Why do you think that your "soul" will only kick in when you are dead? Don't you still have a soul when you are unconscious?
If I lobotomize you, you KNOW you won't be able to think the same, but you believe that by losing your whole brain you'd still be able to think?
Seriously...

>> No.9097103

Not at all, if anything I hope atheists are right and afterlife is just losing your consciousness, this way I'll have no choice but to be at peace. I used to think it sounded scary but really a lot of things in life are scarier anyway.

Speak for yourself.

I don't care if I die or not.
I really don't care enough about my life, my life is worthless so why should I? Even if it was a death full of pain, it wouldn't be long.

I have no reason to be scared of death. If I die I die. That simple.
What comes after will happen, no matter if I'm afraid of it or not.

Nah, I've always wondered what happens after you die so it would be nice to find out. That being said, I also enjoy being alive so I won't go out of my way to die just so I can see what happens.

That's what I mean. I won't be afraid of it then, I'm afraid of it now. If there's nothing after this and this the best we get, then what was the point? Were we supposed to enjoy our time here, was it to learn something? To fuck 3DPD and multiply to no end?
I really like to believe that a soul exists. Even if you clone me right now and give my clone every bit of my memories and experiences, so it will become my exact copy, that still won't be me inside his head. It will be his self awareness. I don't want to think that my ego and self awareness is just a chemical reaction in the brain that extinguishes right after my brain ceases to function. I really want to believe that there is something better after this. It might not be some magical skywizard utopia, but at least something better than this.
