Someone told me that military internet is $200 a month.

Is this true?

Well, it's internet... in a military sense, y'kno with guns, and artillery and stuff

>> No.9089489

Internet is provided to active duty personnel free of charge. Depending on where you are, it might be a wi-fi, a computer lab or 15 minutes of time on a dusty terminal to vidchat with folks stateside.

>> No.9089492

You mean like a person in the military has to pay $200 if they want to use the internet?

I don't know if it's true, who gives a fuck? Just don't join the military.

Does the Airforce even do anything anymore?

Airforce doesn't do carriers.

Airbases are manned by CIA.

Drones do all aerial combat missions.

I'm in the military (US) and I pay for normal internet like everyone else.

Depending on where you work you might have free wifi at available spots.

When I deploy and work overseas I usually am using free internet.

But if you use their internet they'll monitor you and see all those lewd loli pictures you look at.

Negro, what.

USA didn't really took part in proper aerial combat since Vietnam.

when I was deployed back in 07 I had to pay for my internet service. Depending on what level of service I wanted I had to pay more or less. I opted for the 100mb a day plan. Shit cost me close to 60 bucks a month. But it got me through my deployment

Why would someone on /jp/, a board whose members are chronic loafers with a penchant for taking it easy, wanna join the military in the first place?

Because not all parents are created equal and the military is an easy way out if you have no means to study and don't want to starve without internet in some gutter.

Speaking from future experience
I've got 2 months of freedom left before I either enlist or some miracle happens between now and then.

Not really. Also, you don't get any internet through basic, and you get absolutely shit internet the rest of the time. You won't be doing any taking it easy, my friend.
