Still looking for booklet scans for Ar=Ciel Ar=Dor. Well, the Laylania concert's bonus CD too, but that'd be pushing it, and at least I now know it only has two orgel tracks.

Track 6 will be Ciel nosurge's theme song. Whichever song it is. I haven't played it.

NISA gets lazier again. No art-booklet bundled with Meruru. Totori, Disgaea4 and Neptunia MK2 came with one. Kind of sad. Those booklets aren't anything special, but as a little bonus they are nice.
All ordered from Amazon in Germany so it might be available some other way. But if Amazon doesn't get it.. it's very very sad.

No idea. Some UK-retailers offered it for pre-orders. But how about the "German" version? Sure it only has a German manual and the game is still in English, but hey.
But that's why I'm saying, they got lazier. They gave us the booklet for their last three games.

Now the other interesting thing would be... what did NISA fuck up this time. It's not like there exists a single NISA game without anything fucked up. Guess the half dub is pretty much a for sure thing, but there's probably more.

You could play Atelier Annie in a DS emulator I suppose, but the Arland series (Rorona, Totori, Meruru) is for the PS3.

Ar Tonelico is for the PS2 and 3, you could emulate the first two well enough but the third is on the PS3. Also you don't get to play the little girl in those, but you can romance one and it has VN elements.

You know, Neptunia became one of the most popular series for NISA. It's popular. Easily more popular than Ar Tonelico.
It's not bad. The first one has a god-tier cast of characters and just great dialog. Gameplay isn't liked by most, but "worst ever" is just stupid. It's basic. The dungeons look like shit and always the same. But really, how were rpg's 20years ago? Nobody cared back then. And the characters are more than worth it. (Otherwise it wouldn't have sold so damn well)

I also like AT3, I'm actually someone who thinks it's a really good AT. But many think it's the worst AT, has shitty gameplay and so on. And its cast... it just can't get even somewhat close to Neptunia, but that's not exactly strange.

Then again, I'm a bit strange anyway. I also liked Ar Tonelico 3's gameplay. And I also had enough fun with Neptunia, although a big part of that was thanks to its characters I guess. The cast is in my opinion REALLY good.

It became popular because of the small hype it had when announced due to the premise of the game. That it stayed popular for a while was because of the annoying ADHD NISA weeaboo's were spamming 10/10 reviews everywhere.
And personally i thought the dialog was shit with the in your face gaming reverences (hurr hoodlums beating up a car GET IT???) delivered by talking heads and silhouettes because they were too fucking lazy to draw the NPC's.

Noticed how the much better mk2 went over with much less hype? its because many people stopped caring about neptunia because they got burned so badly by the first one.

"Ayesha will meet many characters in Atelier Ayesha and the game records event scenes by creating memory points. You can write these points down in a diary to get stat up bonuses. Gust also says Atelier Ayesha will have storylines for sub-characters and you won’t need to unlock these through DLC."

Well it's a video games thread that is allowed, so I guess I don't blame them.

What I don't get is, if there's so little to discuss, why not use the VN general thread? I don't think threads should be as condensed as they possibly can be, but there's rarely a lot going on and the common defense for Ar Tonelico is that it's largely a visual novel (which I agree with, and it has the relevant vndb entries).

Shirt is too small for me, I'm probably going to give it to my little sister. She loves these games too.

Well shit. (Ar Tonelico Qoga spoilers)
Tatsumi is Cocona. In disguise.
I'm torn.
One on hand, FUCK YES IT'S COCONA TIME, but on the other hand, it is a dark day for there is no more Tatsumi...

Damnit I wanted both of them in my party! I honestly thought Tatsumi was going to be a love interest for Cocona...

Also it was pretty shoddy how they didn't even bother to make a different head to slap onto Tatsumi's body for the non-FMV part of the reveal...

Also, I have got to be retarded for not putting all the clues together before the reveal. Some of them were so blatantly obvious to me now

Polite sage as I simply hit Reply early by accident on that previous post

Am I the only one who is having random frame issues with Meruru? It's kind of annoying.
