I have 4 VPSes doing absolutely nothing, but the last time I hosted a FTP for 4chan they keep deleting everything and uploading random shit with file names like `raping_a_5yo.mpg'.

The FTP was incredibly buggy and had all kinds of severe issues because of crappy fixes I've used over the time I hosted the server, so I decided to reinstall the entire thing. Getting FTP to work again took a while, but it should work again now (except for the Anime folder, most of it needs to be reuploaded).

The next couple of days might have some extra downtime as I try to get the rest of the server (SVN, webhosting, databases, etc) working again. If something doesn't work about the FTP, please post in this topic.

Well, it froze occasionally (in a way I could only fix with physical access to the system), when restarting I had to do a whole bunch of stuff manually and changing things was a nightmare. It's the kind of stuff you don't notice client-side but causes tons of problems server-side.
