What's your flooring like?

I don't pace in my room. My room is too small to pace I can only take one step.

I pace in the hallway.

Downstairs is wood and it's really cold so I don't like walking down there.

I pace. A lot. Almost every day.

Sometimes for an hour at a time.

It's mostly a private thing, done when alone at home. It often seems to occur when I am in the middle of a cognitive breakthrough, having just absorbed significant new information about something important.

I pace back and forth in the living room, it's very peaceful without the sounds and heat coming from the electronics in my room.

I thought the whole "we're all autistic" thing was a joke.

I do it in the living room for about 15 minutes a day, it's just out of restlessness I guess.

I like walking outside at night when the family is asleep.


....although I kinda worry about the neighbors seeing me and thinking I'm a creep or something.

Yesterday I was transferring stuff to a hard drive. Over that 1 hour period I must have left my room, opened fridge/freezer, take nothing, then walk back 15 times.

I don't, but my best friend does.

Only when I need to think about something. Then I pace around and talk to myself.
It's surprising how fast you can find solutions to problems if you talk to yourself as if you would explain the problem to someone who has no clue about the subject. It's like an argument with yourself.

sometimes yes, I used to try to walk every day but I sort of lost the desire to do this. Probably because outside doesn't have a computer to play on.
