I do love to sleep, but I also love being awake. I just sleep a lot and that seems to make up for it. A few months ago I was sleeping longer than I was awake. I would wake up when it was dark and every time I would wake up I would think to myself something like, "Back here again, huh" while waiting to going back to sleep again to see another interesting dream.

It seems most of these cases used the bag method, which is apparently described in Final Exit. I suppose it makes since since it's easier to buy a plastic bag and an elastic or velcro band than it is to buy a CPAP mask. Not sure I quite get it though. Seems the guide recommends using a T-valve, but it reads like most people just made a relatively airtight seal and shoved a tube up there. Suppose that works if the helium overtakes the amount of oxygen.

you can live from a gunshot wound to the head. it's not that uncommon really. if you're real unlucky you'll hit the wrong spot and end up a vegetable, too incapable anymore to kill yourself if you even wanted.

helium, nitrogen, or a bunch of insulin injected intravenously will kill you painlessly. the only thing you'll feel is anxiety until it finally happens. drowning it supposed to be fairly peaceful once it happens, but the terror before you slip into a semi-unconscious state is a lot to attempt to overcome.
