They should make apartments specifically for people who need very little space.

I live in a studio apartment at now but even this is too large for what I need.
The only thing I use all the empty space for is stacking unwashed dishes and clothes, so I could do without it.
So I pay $210/w for an apartment double the size of what I need and with a window that hasn't had the blinds open for a year.

There would be money in windowless, very small apartments with ~$120/w rent.

Huh? If you're living anywhere crowded enough that houses are that expensive, there should be a wealth of ridiculously small apartments available.

There always are in all the crowded cities, since it's generally more profitable to rent out two really really smal apartments than one medium one.

>> No.9037960

I am living in the cheapest apartment I could find, I imagine it is among the smallest.
What I mean is a place even smaller to really cut down on rent.

I think the problem is that property prices are inflated here.
Also houses/apartments here are large, it might be unique to Australia.

Those are ridiculously expensive, especially considering they have no foundation and don't have plumbing. They look like abandoned houses too, and would look retarded on property (which you would also have to pay for)

It would probably be cheaper to get some little ranch house.

Renting houses (not those portable shit shacks he was talking about) is a lot safer and convenient than an apartment.

>> No.9038043

I'd prefer a small house to an apartment, but it would be entirely dependent on the city in which I lived. I don't think the city I live in now even has any apartment buildings, and if it does they're more like condos and duplexes. So not only would renting a house possibly be cheap here, but it's pretty much my only option. But renting a house in, say, New York City would be very expensive.

A female cockroach carries an egg capsule containing around 40 eggs. She drops the capsule prior to hatching, though live births do occur in rare instances. Development from eggs to adults takes 3 to 4 months. Cockroaches live up to a year. The female may produce up to eight egg cases in a lifetime; in favorable conditions, she can produce 300 to 400 offspring.

Can you tell if she's serious or not? If she's just saying it because she knows it works on you and doesn't really plan to kill herself, tell her that it's very immature and move the litters.

If she's serious then she has some issues, you might want to try talking with her or send her to a doctor before she harms herself (and someone else).

That $300 a month can cover just about everything.
Electricity, water, etc.
The point is simple. I have total freedom. I can leave today and sail to Rio Dulce Guatemala. Anchor my boat for free, pay for an cellphone with a decent data plan, and live on less than $95/month.
The other point?
I now live in a very desirable neighborhood here in Philly. Assholes pay $500K for a two bedroom condo to live next door to me. Oh yeah, they have to pay for parking, I get it for free... and free showers and toilets. Only thing I really pay for is slip rental, electricity, phone and internet. I could sail on down to Jacksonville Florida and live for half as much. But I got a job here.

/jp/, as I live on my own for about a year now, I do face some problems with the posters in my apartment. Due to paranoid powerlevel protecting I have to take them all of, every time somebody needs to enter my place. I don't let my family in anymore and obviously have no friends but there are always situations where people have to enter, for example to check or repair the AC system. I am very uncomfortable when people can see my otaku side in any way so It cant be helped and i remove all posters. I currently use blutac to keep them in place and it's good for removing but If I continue like this i will probably damage my posters at some point.

Tell me /jp/ how do I solve the problem, I would like to cover every wall of my Room with posters and scrolls but I will never be able to if I have to remove them two or three times every year.

If somebody ever sees anything of my secret obsession, I would die in shame, powerlevel leakage in any way is no option. Nobody except people who own online stores in japan or maybe my internet provider have a clue. It doesn't matter if people don't care and just think what the fuck (as long as they don't call the loli police), but It would completely fuck my self esteem.

Maybe I should cover the walls with sheets, I already thought about that. But how do I do that? with nails? I might just put the sheet over myself so it's not so shameful.

Frames for every poster are to expensive, I recently checked the cost of a custom frame, it's cheaper to just buy 10 same posters as a backup.

I think I once saw a room with a nice metal grid on one wall, posters are mounted with tiny plastic clothespins and can be quickly removed. A shelf with metal grid doors would be cool and wouldn't look strage without posters but something like that is probably rare and expensive or doesn't exist at all. There are plenty of small 1500-2500 USD boats around, usually at around 20-30 feet. The big, fresh and favoured boats of the live-in community are around ten times that prize.

Plenty of people live in boats that are within your posted size range.
I personally wouldn't live in anything less than 26'. I think 32' and higher is ideal. You get the right amount of space in the cabin and it's big enough to easily catch rain water.
The catch with boats that inexpensive is that they need work. Don't worry about what your neighbor paid for his boat. Find a good deal, a good marina, enjoy life.
